If just one aid worker had complained about not being comfortable with the black hurricane victims, the perverbial sh!t would be hitting the fan. This kind of racist scum doesn't deserve aid from true Americans.

The '98 flood of the Guadalupe River comes to mind. This flood wiped out countless river front homes and other low lying areas in much of Comal, Guadalupe and Gonzales counties.
The situation was handled just as the emergency management plan is supposed to be handled. At the local level, county gov'ts and municipalities were first to set up shelters and provide food and services, then the state came online, followed by FEMA.
I was quite dissappointed in Madden's book. Though it was filled to the brim with facts and figures, for me, it was about as exciting as reading stereo instructions.
