  • Sarah Palin attacks Mitt Romney on health care [Tea Party will be a “big challenge” for Romney.]

I guess I’m the only one who likes Palin and Romney? There are many things I don’t agree with Romney on, but hell, the worst RINO is better than Obama. And it was such a breath of fresh air to actually hear someone go on offensive against Obama. I actually cheered when I heard Romney on the radio saying how Obama is a failure, has failed America and he has done great damage to America and made all things worse. Hell, there were more factual attacks in that one speech by Romney than all of McCain’s combined from 2008.

Yes, he was football coach at West Texas A&M for the WT Buffaloes. Likely making about $70,000 a year or less, but its my understanding he wasn’t stupid with the money he did get while in the NFL. What he was stupid about was how he went about trying to keep his prescription drug habit going. After he fled Amarillo, the Randall County D.A. issued an arrest warrant on charges dealing with him breaking into a players house to steal Hydrocodone and replace it with Midol. No joke. He was arrested while trying to re-enter the U.S., in Seattle I believe, after his “rehab”. Plea bargained it down and did no prison time.

Yea, he was an embarrassment to Amarillo/Canyon, Texas where he coached. He developed a prescription drug problem and broke into a player’s apartment to steal Hydrocodone. When he was about to be indicted he hauled but to British Columbia (I think) to go to rehab. He is a classless loser. Jail time would have done him some good and humbled his smart #$% a bit.

I’m of the thinking that the worst, call it what you want, Republican, RINO, Moderate Republican what have you, is better than Obama. I’ll vote for whomever receives the nomination, period. Its about the future of the country. ANYONE is better than what we have now. The WORST Republican is better than what we have now. I’ll put all personal beliefs aside to vote for the nominee. If I did it for McCain, I can do it again. I’ve always thought the only way we lose 2012 is if we run the wrong candidate. I believe the media had a great deal to do with McCain getting the nomination. While watching the national convention, I knew then we had lost it when McCain started going “fight with me...fight with me.....”. It was sad quite frankly. He made Dole look Reaganesque. Newt won’t get the nomination and neither will Romney. There is a dark horse out there who will lead us to victory in my opinion. IF we can get him nominated.

I’ve read plenty of posts on FR about people not voting for Romney because of his “cult”. Others, because of his politics, but many because of his religion.

I think Gingrich is a brilliant man and historian. I do believe he took such a beating and demonetization by Clinton during his time as SoH, without throwing punches back, that he has no chance in hell of winning. Politically, Clinton beat him to a pulp after Gingrich’s Contract With America. And, the fact over the last few years, as a pundit, he has swerved to the middle on several issues, he isn’t electable. He should have fought when it counted back in the 90’s. Sorry Newt, way too many bruises and baggage. As far as everyone saying they won’t vote for Romney, I know a lot of that has to do with him being a Mormon, but I’d rather have a Mormon who stands by his beliefs and follows the teachings of Jesus Christ than Obama, who lies out his ass about his “Christian” religion. But still, Romney is too much of a centrist for me. But anyone is better than Obama, and I’ll vote for whomever is running against him, period.

Thank you. I’ve had an account for 7 years or so, but it got nuked by a moderator on day one because I didn’t quite understand the posting guidelines and they thought I was some type of a shill. After sending out a few e-mails today, my account was reactivated. Hence the “apologies if I’m posting this in the wrong place”.

Best wishes to her and family. I always like how aggressive Megyn is when people try to evade her questions. I’m the father of 8 month old beautiful twins, a boy and a girl, and I still don’t think I’ve gotten any sleep since they were born. First time parents we are, each right around age 40. But I’d rather do it now than at 18.

Greetings all. I wish I could say this is my first post but quite a few years ago I signed up and made a post, not knowing the posting guidelines and such, a moderator banned me thinking I was some type of a shill. Sent a few e-mails out today and it appears my e-mail address has finally been cleared after 6 years or so lol. My first act was to donate $50.00. I’m proud to be able to finally call myself a freeper and have a great respect for all you freepers do. Keep up the good fight!
