Is she actually the school’s chancellor? Does she actually do anything? Fundraise? I’m sure she skims some off the top if so.
Is it more like the Mayor of Pittsburgh getting a seat on the Board of Trustees at the University of Pittsburgh? Or the governor getting a seat on Penn State’s board? They show up to vote and that’s about it???
They proved the Pythagorean Theorem using trigonometric methods.
Now it’s “cheating” to simply let a = c*cos(x) and
b = c*sin(x) and proving that a^2 + b^2 = c^2.
I’m a bit unclear at what point a trigonometric method isn’t cheating.
I think I recall seeing their proof and yes I was impressed but I’m not a theoretician.
The state level apportionment decisions of the 1960’s specifically mentioned citizens. It was unconstitutional to apportion either branch of the state legislature on the basis of anything other than population. They cited the 14th amendment which said “citizens.”
Pittsburgh voted down new stadiums and they got them anyway.
I know other cities have voted them down too and the local polticians have found a way around it.
Does the mobile app actually tell you how long it will take to get the order before the order is placed? Or do the people actually get to Starbucks, see there is a long line, and decide to not place the order?
Now if you’re wanting a pastry with your coffee and the app says they don’t have any, then yes I can see customers not completing the order.
