This is just ridiculous. I never understand how people can come to America and claim that we're worse off than the rest of the world. Why don't they protest REAL slavery in Africa or forced abortion in China or something.

Hi, My name is Sara Russo, and I'm the conference director for Accuracy in Academia, a non-profit group in DC that fights the left-wing bias at colleges and universities. We actually brought David Horowitz to UCLA for a conference last year, but as it was a couple of months before the whole reparations ad fiasco, we only got a few protestor-types. A panel we held on Mumia Abu Jamal (and his rise to become a hero for the left), on the other hand, brought out the opposition in force. Actually, if anyone on this board is in or near the city of Philadelphia, we're holding a FREE student conference at the University of Pennsylvania on February 22nd-23rd, featuring David Horowitz among other speakers, and I wanted to let you all know about it in case you might like to attend. While the audience will be composed mainly of college students, some high school students and adults will also be in attendance, and the conference is free for everyone. The event will take place on February 22 and 23 on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania. “Enemies Within: Responding to Anti-Americanism in the Wake of 9-11” will feature some of the leading intellects in the Conservative Movement including Radical Son author David Horowitz, nationally syndicated columnist Don Feder, Accuracy in Academia executive director Daniel Flynn, and entrepreneur, radio personality, and musician, Reginald Jones. This conference is also a great opportunity to meet other conservatives from across the region. The gathering will include a luncheon on Saturday and is entirely FREE of charge. All conference events are located in Houston Hall, which is part of the Perelman Quadrangle.
