It was on June 12, 1976 that John Lennon joined Ringo Starr at Cherokee Studios in LA to play piano on the track “A Dose of Rock ‘N Roll” along with John’s composition “Cookin’ (In the Kitchen of Love)” for Ringo’s upcoming album. It was John’s last time in a recording studio until he came out of his “retirement” four years later. Seven days later, Paul McCartney (during a break from his Wings Over America tour) joined Ringo at Cherokee Studios to work on Paul’s composition “Pure Gold” from that same album. I wonder if was during that week that Susan Headley (who was seventeen) had sex with any of the ex-Beatles.
