Sarcasm? Yes, at least on my part. However I would be disingenuous to state there wasn't a twinge of wondering on my part as well. Let me explain w/ the facts as I see them.

First off, we really have NO idea who any of the posters are on this site, what their motivations are, or who they are in real life. That's the blessing & curse of dealing in Cyber space, it's quite anonymous, thus allowing folks to even pretend if they so wish w/o repercussions or fear of being found out.

I know for a fact that there are Democratic operatives operating as plants here. I've talked to them & they have admitted as much. We have several Freepers here that do likewise on DU & the Huffington Post. No great revelation there.

With that being said, I look at those I referred to as the Christian Jihadists, & for the better part, I see them as fanatics (please see defintion below), one trick pony's if you will. This is a conservative political website, & yet for the most part, they, for the better part, post almost exclusively on Mormon and/or Catholic bashing threads, or threads that they quickly hijack into Mormon/Catholic bashing threads (i.e. most recent Glen Beck Threads). The vast majority of their time is spent bashing, not on conservative causes for which this site has it's purpose, or at least used to. The vast majority of their time is spent on sewing seeds of discord here among conservatives, not uniting in the common theme of conservatism. Hmmmm. Something plants are specifically here to do. But I digress.

The definition of Jihad is Holy war. Is there really any doubt that these "Christian Jihadists" consider the cause they undertake here as a Holy war? Their actions & obsessive behavior certainly seem to point in that direction. Jihadists of any kind tend to try & impose their will/opinions upon the rest. They believe that it's their way or the highway. There's no room for opposing opinions, theirs is all that matters. Of course all they have are opinions, very little that's definitive, yet that doesn't stop them.

Common to most, if not all Jihadists, they are fanatical in their actions & beliefs. Psychologically, fanatics tend to be somewhat unstable. To varying degrees of course. It's hard to tell at times to what degree here because we're in cyber space. Although sometimes we can gain great insight through the words expressed & the obsessive behavior . However, it's still nothing more than an educated guess.

Do you guys ever wonder why the number of non LDS Christian posters here is increasing in taking you folks to the woodshed on these threads? Most seem to be fellow Evangelicals, & as w/ many of my Evangelical friends here locally, they are embarrassed by your fanatical actions. They're embarrassed that you claim to represent their views.

Does that translate into the possibility that one of the fanaticals here could actually shoot a Mormon bishop?, someone, a poster, we really know virtually nothing about? Perhaps, but I would think it highly unlikely in this case. Stranger things have happened...........Ireland/England anyone?

Also, EJ, I'm not a lawyer........your misrepresentations never do stop do they?

As you look at the following definition of fanatic, see if these definitions don't apply to your presence here on FR. I'm back to having fun. Best wishes to all for a great week.

BTW, I don’t paint all Christian folks who disagree w/ Mormon doctrine as Christian Jihadists. Most Christians here are great folks & walk the walk of a Christian. Some of my best friends are non-members & we have some very lively discussions. But w/ those Christians, it never gets vitriolic as it does here w/ the anti’s/Christian Jihadists. They practice what they preach.

Big, BIG difference. As I’ve stated in the past, the Christian Jihadists are a very, very small minority here, albeit they’re the most vocal.

First off, I find it fascinating that you folks would answer the call to “Christian Jihadists”. Of course you’ve always seemingly enjoyed calling yourselves the “Flying Imams” so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.

Have you folks really forgotten the discussions re: the Haun’s Mill massacre, the murder of the prophet Joseph Smith, the Governor Boggs extermination orders, etc.. Really?

I’m in the process of a week long anniversary celebration w/ my wife. Thought I would check in & see what’s going on. It’s always good for a good giggle.

BTW, I’m quite sure the reference to the shooter as an FR member was in sarcasm. With the utter hated you folks often display for Mormon’s, is it really any wonder that some would feel this way? Have a great week, I know I will

Good question. There have been several here on FR that have lauded the massacre of Mormons & Gov. Boggs’ extermination order of Mormons in the 1800’s, saying it was justified. It’s a shame, but I’m quite certain there are some Christian Jahadists here applauding this guys actions. A VERY small minority for sure, but despicably vocal.

How long before they show up here?

Fair enough. But what standard has the Lord chosen for those who have not heard His word? Surely that’s in the Bible. Aren’t all answers in the Bible according to you, except for the way out there questions like the Trinity?

Quick question EJ. I’m not looking for your views on what the LDS belief is, rather what YOUR personal belief is.

The Buddhist in China that goes his entire life living his religion because it’s the only religion he’s ever been taught or had access to. He never even hears of Jesus Christ let alone has the chance to accept Him before he dies. Does he have a chance to get into Christ’s kingdom according to YOU?

We need a side by side of this photo & the one from today. A rather stark example of what the two sides are all about, metaphorically & otherwise.

As one travels the state, there are literally ten times more “dump Reid” types of bumper stickers than there are vote Reid bumper stickers.

Harry hasn’t made it past 44% all campaign. That’s a death knell for an incumbent. Angle has been keeping her powder dry through the summer because no one pays attention during the summer & she has limited funds in comparison to Harry.

Her ads have been perking up lately & have been very effective. The only way Angle blows it at this point is to completely screw up the debates which is not expected. In fact, many expect Harry to dodge the debate at the last minute due to “important” business back in Washington.

Have faith. We’re working hard to make sure Harry goes down. There’s A LOT more energy on this side than His. A LOT more.

BTW, did Beck & his supporting cast do a great job today or what? THAT’S what America is all about!

I can give you a little insight. The polls are relatively tight now but I suspect it won’t be nearly as tight at the end of the day.

I have spoken to union members down in Vegas, & even though the leadership is firmly behind Harry, the rank & file are far from. They HATE socialism & think that’s where Harry & his cadre are headed.

Without the union rank & file, Harry is toast. We’ll keep praying that’s the case.

So, are therefore telling me that when you were referring to “Mormons” in all your various posts here, that you actually just meant the off shoots of the LDS church? Can you possibly dig yourself any deeper?

But let’s just say you’re being intellectually honest in your comments (LOL). To lump all the factions of the church, which is a very minute number in comparison, would be akin to lumping all the “Christian” factions in w/ your faith. Therefore, if I were to lump the beliefs of Fred Phelps, A “Christian”, & ascribe those to your beliefs, that would be just & okay w/ you? You’re all “called” Christians right? BTW, you’re a Christian, so, you must accept the Pope as your leader right?

If you were referring to factions, you should have stated such. But you already know that, right?

I suspect everyone here knows what you were doing, it was quite transparent. Your excuses are laughable. Please stop burying yourself. Stop. Retreat for a bit. Reflect on what you’re really doing.

    Have a great weekend

“Some mormons (tens of thousands) believe he used to be Adam”

Really? And your proof? Oh, you don’t have the proof of tens of thousands? Thanks for making my point once again. Best of luck explaining this one to Father. Lies justify the means?

Off to the airport again. Best of luck. You may need it.

Actually, I used much of the Systematic Theology approach on my home page discussing the Trinity. As you recall, I even quoted one of the professors of Systematic Theology to you in a post some time ago that had problems w/ the Trinity. It’s pretty good stuff. Hardly fool proof however.

As far as the Adam/God theory & “Mormons” belief in it, perhaps you refer to the RLDS. If so, please refer as such in your posting. Otherwise, please provide proof that LDS as a whole believe in the theory, or that it is doctrine. Not the anomalies, but the whole. Otherwise, it might be more prudent to state it as anomalistic rather than the misrepresented way you did.

You presented it as if the whole believes in the theory & as if it were doctrine accepted by all. Not quite true is it? But then you knew that right? Just like the slight of hand w/ the Joseph Smith “quote” in the previous post. Tsk tsk.

I have asked you questions on a number of occasions on things as simple as the Trinity. Often you refuse to answer w/ your only reply at times:

“when the student is ready, the teacher appears. Maybe it’s that you are not ready?”

Sound familiar? Maybe you’re just not ready for the answer. Touche’?
