Regardless, my fellow-Canuck, you are woefully behind the times if you think BRICS+ is a do-nothing talkshop. While they most certainly were in the past, the Biden Administration’s weaponization of the US Dollar and punitive sanctions against dozens of countries for not toeing the pro-LGTBQ+ line and US foreign policy means the BRICS+ nations have no choice but to work together to avoid hanging separately. That creates highly-motivated people willing to sacrifice to survive.

In short, he’s a military tactics and strategy savant and knows more about minutia of hundreds of battles than the retired generals that are paid on the TV shows.

The funny thing is I was like you a few years ago - dismissive of anyone who does not follow the party line that Russians are evil, that they invaded without provocation, that Ukraine is fighting for their freedom. But the world is more nuanced than slogans. Just yesterday, I called my brother to apologize and admitted he was right about something I ridiculed as a conspiracy theory ten years ago.

No, they arrested a Russian CITIZEN - a woman who just so happened to become a dual citizen with US citizenship in 2021, for donating money to an enemy of Russia DURING a war.

Her becoming an American citizen is irrelevant since she kept her Russian citizenship.

What will the US do if an American citizen gave money to its enemy during a war? What do you call giving money to an enemy during a war? Isn’t it treason? And what is the penalty for treason?

What this “minister” doesn’t understand is we are saved individually, and once we die, that’s it; time’s up. If we are unprepared to meet God when we exit this earth, then no amount of whining afterward will change our eternal fate. If our own loved ones choose the wrong path, our love for them will not change their fate.

This is why it is so important for us to become “perfect” while still alive - and this perfection comes by us becoming people who genuinely love God, love our neighbors, love ourselves, and keep God’s commandments as best we can. Then and only then can we stand before a loving God with joy for as he is so were we while on this earth. Then and only then can we become one with him and share in his oneness, love, and glory.

Can you honestly say she did not say “more than 100,000 Ukrainian military officers have been killed so far”?

Now, you can argue she was given false information but what you cannot do is claim she misspoke and was actually referring to casualties instead of deaths because the phrasing and its context cannot substitute “killed” with “casualties.” She said immediately prior that 20,000 Ukrainian civilians have been killed. So, the data set she used was “killed” not “casualties.”
