I'm not interested in talking baseball with you. Never was. I just didn't like the way you were criticizing The Royals for their sloppy play and the shoddy base running by Hosmer. His aggressive base running is the reason why they are having a parade in downtown Kansas City right now.
The Royals and the Mets played 5 games. The Royals won 4 of them. Two of them in New York. Two of them in extra innings. I think that is a pretty convincing series win. But I haven't watched 3000 baseball games in the last 30 years, so I could be wrong.

The two teams combined for eight errors in five games, it was a sloppy series.
You're right, it was a sloppy series. By the Mets. Out of those eight errors, six of them were by the Mets. Kansas City handed your boys their asses on a silver platter, And everybody knows it, except you.

Thanks for the explanation. I'm glad it happened as well. I've been a Royals fan since the 70's.
But even if it had been called an error, Escobar would have scored, but it wouldn't have been an inside the parker. But I'm not sure how they would have called it then.

I’m not sure how they determine what is and what isn’t. I’ve seen plays before that I didn’t think were errors, and they were, and vice versa. I guess it is what it is.

It wasn’t an error. He didn’t drop the ball because he never had it in his glove. It never touched his glove. It hit his left leg and then hit the ground.
