Yep, that’s the rifle he used, along with a G.I. 1911, although the movie shows him using a Luger (only because they couldn’t get the blanks to cycle right in the 1911). I have an M1917 myself, along with a couple of SMLEs, No.4 MkI, and a few K98s. Sadly, no ‘03 though......yet.
A little bit of a correction... the M1917 is the .30-06 version of the P-14 Enfield in .303, both which were used in WWI along with the SMLE and ‘03. The P-14 and M1917 were Mauser based actions, not based on the Lee action.
In WWII, the standard British arms were the Short Magazine Lee-Enfield (SMLE aka No1 Mk III) and the No.4 Mk I, which began seeing action in ‘41/’42.
Williams has been a longstanding progressive that occasionally tolerates an alternate viewpoint. He's now reaping the results of the progressive mindset where any belief or opinion other than the far left is not tolerated.
a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition
I’ll be extremely surprised if this actually gains any real traction. Too many people have received kickbacks and ‘donations’, going all the way to the top of the Dem foodchain. Their minions in the lamestream media will do everything they can to quash it. I commend the NY Repubs for at least attempting it though.
And speaking as a renter myself... How about everyone just pay their own bills, aight??
Only 6% of all homes are in foreclosure. That means 94% of homebuyers are being responsible, so the spineless politicians need to stop rewarding failure with responsible people's tax dollars.
If someone can't afford a house, they should sell it and cut their losses. If the bank has to foreclose due to a failed loan, that's their own problem for loaning to risky buyers. There is NO guarantee when it comes to home mortgages, whether you're the buyer or the seller. The banks should cut their own losses then sell the foreclosed homes at a discounted price to responsible people. Then those folks, such as myself, who were responsible enough to not buy something they couldn't afford then could afford those homes now. The bank gets out from under the house and responsible people will then buy them. What a concept.
