My luxury is the $18 organic, grass-fed ham hock I bought from a local farmer earlier this week. I just made a huge bucket of Southwestern Black Bean soup with it that will give me about 10 meals to freeze.
There were so many memorable moments from the trucker protests, but the one that always brings a smile to my face was the guy who was being interviewed after Trudeau had locked down their bank accounts and the news reporter asked him how he felt about that. The man paused and then broke into a big smile and said, “There is nothing in my bank account anyway!” and started laughing hysterically. It was one of those moments of “You can either laugh or cry about it,” and he chose to laugh until tears were running down his face.
The boosters sped up the process that was put in place with the initial vaxxes, so the more shots taken, there was a layering effect. What we can hope is that more people sought to counteract the jabs with protocols that mitigated the effects of the initial shots in addition to not taking any further boosters.
Silver went to $40 in 2011, so still a ways to go. Gold, on the other hand, has skyrocketed over its 2011 high, which was $1700. I would say Silver is still a good buy, but wait for the dips.
That article about RIzD was not what I expected! I know people who attended and have even taught there and they are as commie-liberal as it gets. Their response to the protestors surprised me in a good way.
I used to shop at the Underwood Ranch farm stand in Somis all the time, which was right near my parents’ house. Good people there and the BEST strawberries.
