(CNN) -- In the months since the shooting of U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, reports about her condition have been sparse. We have learned of a follow-up surgery to repair her skull and that she was recently released from a rehabilitation hospital... ...Should the media and the public be so reluctant to demand more information? The Arizona Democrat is not just a private citizen; she is a sitting member of Congress. Do Giffords' responsibilities demand a more searching inquiry into her health? No one is asking this question because it seems moot... ...In reality, the congresswoman is not carrying out any...
  • Fox News joins MSM in ignoring March for Life [vanity]

Fox News has joined the MSM today in ignoring the March for Life. I checked the websites of Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, Daily Caller, and Big Government. Nothing on their home pages about the March for Life, which, by some estimates, attracted some two million people, many of them young people, from around the country. FAIL.

Sorry there's no article, but someone posted a link to this group on a forum today. I live in Ohio and haven't heard a word about it in the local media... Has anyone heard about this cause? Why hasn't the media covered this in-depth? Blackout2010... ..."Because many African-Americans believe their votes, their families and their interests have been taken for granted by Democratic leadership over the past thirty years. THE STRATEGY. Through the use of extensive earned media coverage, viral and social marketing through the internet, rallies, direct mail, media and other initiatives, the goal is to persuade tens of...

  • Renacci(OH-16)funded by liberal MainStreet PAC-Boehner and OH GOP behind RINO not the conservative?

Ohio businessman Jim Renacci, whom national Republican officials prefer as their nominee against Democrat John Boccieri in the Canton-area 16th district, was the source for most of the money his campaign raised in the final three months of 2009. In a filing to the Federal Election Commission on Thursday, Renacci said that he had loaned his campaign $120,000, or nearly 60 percent of the $211,000 he raised overall. Renacci made the loan on Dec. 31, the last day of the reporting period. Renacci raised about $79,000 from individual donors and another $11,500 from political committees, including $5,000 from the centrist...
  • Ohio SOS Brunner's office "loses" 2000 signatures clearing the way for Democratic AG win

[T]his is from Thea Shoemake, Vice Chair of the Clermont County GOP Central Committee: On Wednesday, February 17, Steve Christopher spoke to the Clermont County Central Committee in Batavia...In addition to the signatures I procured for him in Clermont, a few other people who had been circulating his petitions here as well as in neighboring counties, came to the meeting that night to hand-deliver them to Steve. I’m estimating that he had – from that stop alone – approx. 300 signatures from Clermont, Warren & Hamilton counties (combined). It was my understanding that Steve was going to drive to Columbus...
  • Ohio SOS Jennifer Brunner attempts to fix the election

Nearly 2,000 petition signatures simply vanished in the hands of Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner, a man whom Brunner disqualified from the May ballot for attorney general alleged yesterday. The problem here is, why would Secretary Brunner even bother to check the names at all, if there weren’t at least the minimum requirement of 1000? I think the very fact that she is looking is proof that her office thinks they screwed up. Below is Brunner’s receipt showing that he filed approximately 2750 signatures… along with his “disqualification letter.” And below that is the “worklogs,” showing how many signatures and petitions...
