I find it rather amusing -- the panic on the left.

The testimony of the Benghazi survivors -- the self-described "whistle-blowers," who have dared to step forward and tell their stories, despite the threats from those who stand to lose the most -- has pretty much decimated the story that President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton (with the assistance of the essentially useless Press Secretary Jay Carney and the embarrassingly naive U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice) pushed to cover their own asses.

A little side-note on those Benghazi survivors:

Were it not for the heroic efforts of those ex-Navy SEALs -- Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty -- who disobeyed the orders to "stand down"... TWICE... and lead a rescue team from their location (a mile away)to the Benghazi compound after they heard shots being fired -- those "whistle-blowers" might not be have been alive to testify on Wednesday.

Makes the possible explanation as to why they were told to "stand down" -- and why subsequent rescue personnel were told "not to go" -- come into ugly perspective -- doesn't it?

Even more entertaining (or "pathetic"... I can't quite decide yet) is the amount of frantic effort the liberal MSM and their blogger minions are expelling to deny and beat back the obvious -- that Hillary is toast in 2016.

Sure... there might be enough of what Rush Limbaugh describes as "low information voters" to elect her as the Democratic nominee for 2016. But, as South Carolina Republican Rep.Sen. Lindsey Graham posed(rhetorically) to National Review on Thursday:

"How in the world could she have believed that the death of Chris Stevens was a spontaneous riot motivated by a hateful video?”

"Either she is completely disconnected from reality or that was political spin."

"Ultimately, the voters will decide,” Graham conceded, “but if you’re running to be commander in chief, people are going to judge you by the job you’ve done.”

And, as I noted in my article -- Hillary's scandal record is LONG.

In his equally frantic screed -- "GOP’s trumped-up Benghazi scandal hasn’t tarnished Hillary Clinton" -- Pat Cunningham parroted Lewison's silly lament, "that Clinton’s name was mentioned almost five times as often as President Obama’s in Wednesday’s House Oversight Committee hearing on Benghazi."

"The objective of the GOP scandal-mongers was clear: Bring Hillary down a peg or two or five."

    Whatever.

"Evidently," he "can’t imagine why Clinton – the “fmr. secretary of state,” whose duty it was to protect the lives of Chris Stevens, Sean Smith and ex-Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty who were killed under her watch – would be “mentioned” so many times during a hearing aimed at finding out who was responsible for the decisions that ultimately led to their deaths" either.

He's "betting that the next batch of polls measuring Clinton’s popularity will show that she remains far more well-liked among the American people than any Republican politician in the land."

Yeah... and I'm betting that "should Clinton decide to make a run at the presidency in 2016, she better start figuring out how she’s going to make a “corkscrew landing” through her past and start practicing how to duck the sniper fire that is sure to ensue as she runs across the campaign tarmac."

    Your thoughts?
