This is definitely a Pogrom and these people are in danger.
We’ve seen this one before... And right on Passover eve.... Classic Anti-Semitism.

Below is the link to the article in YNET News.com in Israel:

    The Headline and Sub-headline read:
“Donetsk leaflet: Jews must register or face deportation
Fear replaced communal atmosphere in Donetsk’s Jewish community as armed men handed out a leaflet Passover eve calling on Jews register their religion and property with the interim pro-Russian government or face deportation and loss of citizenship.”

Palestinian Arabs are doing their best to kill Jews every day, throwing rocks and firebombs or shooting and stabbing. The 16-year-old murderer in this case is following a family tradition, or should I say, a national one. I would go farther than Hotovely and Indor and say that Abbas and other PA officials responsible for creating these killers are themselves guilty of murder, and should be treated appropriately.

Todays Zionists are from the entire range of Jewish groups.

“Zionist” simply means that you want to live in your historic, indigenous homeland- Israel. I am a Zionist and I am totally Sefardic- I am an Orthodox Jew who’s family is Egyptian, Turkish and Spanish. 3/4 of Israel’s population is Sefardic.

Most folks do not realize that over 900,000 Jews were forced to flee- thrown out with just the clothes on their back - from the Arab nations when Israel declared its rebirth in 1948. They were taken back in by the State of Israel. They make up the majority of the Israeli population.

They can dispute all they want, but they cannot argue with the archeology- the facts in the ground, and there is plenty of it- along with the ancient writings of other nations, and the artifacts, such as the Arch of Titus, and the spoils of the siege, acknowledged by, and still kept in the Vatican.

There were indeed borders back then- very clearly so. And, we know the ancient names. As an example, in the Torah you will find the specific areas, their size and locations of each tribe’s portion of land. One thing that makes the Torah so fascinating is that it contains what are probably the world’s first recorded real estate deeds and land titles.

But for an interesting glance at the old maps, here is a link to an English portion of a Hebrew site that features a good look into the ancient world, the nations, their ancient names, and boundaries of that entire region: http://hashem1.net/?p=361#Magogs_Land_Borders.

The Jewish Diaspora was wide reaching, but it was actually rather well documented. But, there no French kings among them. Some nobility of Europe may have had one of us in the woodpile, but for the most part, that is just nonsense from the Revisionists. The European royalty was too busy persecuting Jews to marry into them. And the Revisionists just want to claim Israel as their own, so they re-write history, can’t read Hebrew, and ignore the facts - like archeology.

Rabbi Ken Spiro produced a 33 part series on Jewish history from Abraham to the present. You may want to look into it:

The Roman renamed the Jews and Israel “Palestine” as a demeaning insult to remind the Jews of the humiliation of the Greek invasion and take over centuries earlier. ( Google the holiday of Hannukah- that is where it comes from) The Romans gave the Jews and Israel this name during the siege of Jerusalem which took place on Tisha B’Av, 70 A.D. (See the writtings of Josephus Flavius and Titus.)

As a side note, the writtings of Josephus are translated into English and are a fascinating read.

No, the Orthodox do not frown on the convert. The convert is actually respected because they made an actual choice to follow Torah. The convert is regarded as a Jewish Soul who is returning to the Jewish people.

The story of Rut ( Ruth) the Moabite, wife of Boaz and great-grandmother of King David is a shinning example of a woman who converts to Judaism and how the convert is regarded among us.

No, it is not complicated at all.

Halachically, since the women converted, they are Jews.

The convert’s “merit” is that they CHOSE to convert to believe in HaShem and follow Torah, rather than being born into it. Rut ( Ruth), the Moabite was a virtuous woman who converted, married Boaz and became the great-grandmother of King David. She lived to see him crowned king of Israel.

There is no complication as long as the woman converts. Once she converts, she follows Torah and performs the Mitzvot. She is as Jewish as any other Jew. She may not be Israelite/ Hebrew. But, by marrying a Jew, her children will be of her husband’s tribe. By 3 generations, her descendants will be Hebrew lineage.

There are no such people as “Palestinians” nor a land “Palestine”. That is a name given to the JEWISH people by the Romans when they sacked the 2nd Temple and Jerusalem. They gave it to the Jews as an insult and a way of distancing Jews from their land and nationhood- not unlike what the arabs are attempting to do today.

The name is actually Greek. Are the arabs Greek? No, they are not. The letter “P” is not even in the Arabic language. There are no “Palestinian” archeological artifacts, coinage, government, language or culture. It is all Hebrew and Jewish.

But, here is the truth by their own lips:

PLO executive committee member Zahir Muhsein made one such statement to the Dutch newspaper, Trouw, in March 5,1977. He said:

“The Palestinian people does not [sic.] exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct “Palestinian people” to oppose Zionism.”

On September 13, 1993, the same day Arafat and Yitzhak Rabin signed the “Declaration of Principles” embodying those ideals for which he would later get the Nobel Prize, he explained his motives on Lebanese TV:

“Since we cannot defeat Israel in war, we do this in stages. We take any and every territory that we can of Palestine, and establish sovereignty there, and we use it as a springboard to take more. When the time comes, we can get the Arab nations to join us for the final blow against Israel.”

The true “genetic descendants” of the Jews are JEWS. You can try to revise all you want, but you can NEVER defeat or change such a well documented, known, and recognized history.

Before I begin this one, let me apologize in advance if it does not format properly.

The Khazars were NOT Karaites. Here’s another one of those little “mysteries” I can help out on.

In the 8th century, as a result of the influx and influence of the Jews migrating throughout the region, the nation of Khazar, much of its royalty and aristrocracy converted to Judaism.

The conversion was performed by Rabbi Yitzak HaSangari. The result was a more tolerant and harmonious society. The Jews, who were educated in many other nations, brought with them the culture, arts, and technologies of the civilization/nations they fled from.. The direct result was that the Khazars became an Asian steppe tribal society that successfully made the transition to an urbanite society.

Eventually, the Khazars and the Balkins were conquered by Sviatoslav of Kiev. However, most of the families of the original migrating Jews remained in the region. World Wars 1 & 2, along with the rebirth of the State of Israel, led to mass Jewish immigration out of the region.

Many people, generally Anti-Semites, try to state that these people were not of Jewish blood. But this is incorrect. Genetic testing shows that they are indeed, without question of the same Jewish people who were still living in the Middle East and other areas. So, any discussion of Ashkenazi Jews not being “original” Jews is simply moot.

The Karaites were not part of the Khazars. Most of them remained in the Middle East. Many lived in Egypt.

This article is complete nonsense. It does not even contain an author's name.... and little wonder. The Karaites ARE considered Jews, They are considered just a different sect of Jews by all, with the exception of the Ultra-Otrthodox Jewish ( Hariedi )sects, who tend not regard any other sect of Judaism- such as Traditional Orthodox, Flexidox, Modern Orthodox, Conservative, or Reformed, as Torah Observant Jews, either...lol. So, it is no surprise that they would reject the Karaites, as well. They do follow Torah, but the argument is that if you do not follow the Talmud, then you do not know how the laws are applied. For those who do not know what the Talmud actually is, let me remove the mystery. It is simply a written compendium of ongoing discussions, opinions, and Rabbinc rulings on the oral law by various Rabbis over several hundred years. There are actually 2 of them. The Jerusalem and the Babylonian. 3,325 years ago, Moshe Rabbeinu (Moses) brought down the Tablets which contained the 10 Commandments. The 10 Commandments is the "outline headers" or "categories" of the 613 Mitzvot ( Commandments) a Jew must perform. But.... he also brought down the Oral Law- the explanations of how they were to be applied, and thus, he taught the people, well before he transcribed the Torah, and made a scroll for each tribe. The Oral law is the explanation/details and the "How-to's." Karaites reccognize the Tanakh- the 24 seferim ( Books) of the Torah as the authority in Halakha ( Jewish Law). They maintain that all of the divine commandments handed down to Moshe by HaShem were recorded in the written Torah, without the need of additional Oral Law or explanation. As a result, they do not accept as binding, the written collections of the oral tradition in the Mishnah or Talmud. They do not light the Shabbas Candles, nor wear Tefillin, or place Mezzuzot on their doorposts. This article also falsely accused Maimonides ( The Rambam), as well. He did not hold the authority to ban anyone from public prayer. No Rabbi does. "Maimonides, wrote that people who deny the divine authority of the Oral Torah are considered among the heretics. However, at the same time Maimonides holds (Hilkhot Mamrim 3:3) that most of the Karaites and others who claim to deny the "oral teachings" are not to be held accountable for their errors in the law because they are led into error by their parents and are similar to a tinoq shenishbah (a captive baby), or to one who was forced. Rabbinic scholars have traditionally held that, because the Karaites do not observe the rabbinic law on divorce, there is a strong presumption that they are mamzerim (adulterine bastards), so that marriage with them is forbidden even if they return to Rabbinic Judaism. Some recent Ashekenazi Ḥaredi scholars have held that Karaites should be regarded as Gentiles in all respects, though this is not universally accepted. They hasten to add that this opinion is not intended to insult the Karaites, but only to give individual Karaites the option of integrating into mainstream Judaism by way of conversion. In contrast, in 1971 Rav ‘Ovadia Yosef, who was then the Rishon LeṢiyyon/Chief Rabbi of the Sefaradim and ‘Edot HaMizraḥ of Israel, proclaimed that Karaites are Jews "LeKhol Davar" (literally, for all purposes) and that it is permissible for Rabbanite Jews to marry with them." The accusation that they have lesser rights is absolute nonsense. And the author of the article is a liar. Little wonder he hides his name. Cronos, you really should check the validity of your sources before posting articles of this nature. It is very misleading. In fact, it is total and complete crap.

Just for the record, Yityish Aynaw is not a Christian Ethiopian. She is a Jewish Ethiopian, a Falasha, and a direct descendant of King Soloman and The Queen of Sheba by their son Menelik 1.

The Falasha call themselves Beta Israel—the house of Israel—and used the Torah to guide their prayers and memories of the heights of Jerusalem as they lived in their thatched huts in Ethiopia. They follow Jewish traditions including circumcision, observing the Sabbath, attending synagogue, and following dietary and purity laws.

The miracle of Israel’s Operation Solomon is has brought back this ancient Jewish community to rejoin the rest of the Jewish people in Israel. Another tribal group returns. :)
