A popular vote, in a close presidential election, could easily result in recounts in every single voting precinct in the country, coast to coast. It would definitely result in more Acorn-type activity in populous blue states.
A more useful poll would be “Should the world series be decided on the traditional basis of ‘best four out of seven’ games or on the basis of total runs scored (or hits, stolen bases, fewest pitches, fewest errors, fewest players, coaches, managers ejected ... etc.)?

I think everyone knows the meaning of this. The numbers are not good. We knew that without seeing the numbers. But to have it reported that (the numbers were so bad that) the Obama administration/re-election campaign is thinking of not reporting them until after the election can only mean they were worse than anyone thought.

He did look a little “not engaged” during the first debate. Perhaps a different kind of high than elevation above sea level .... if you know what I mean.

“Maybe 0bama wasnt engaged because he was busy snorting coke.”
I think “engaged” was Rush's euphemism for doing coke. He made a point of not saying anything more specific other than whatever it was was inexcusable.
I can't imagine anyone on his staff sticking his neck out for Obama after he let those four Americans be slaughtered in Benghazi while he went off to dreamland, Las Vegas and several idiot TV talk shows and proceeded to tell (what his closest associates knew were) bald faced and easily detected lies over the next two weeks.
Now that the administration's story has changed I expect there will be some defections ... e.g. the sources for the Reuters story.

One other Freeper posted having seen/heard it on TV. My memories of Sgt. Preston and King are from the radio series which, from time to time, can still be heard on some AM stations that play old time radio.
