I've a dog in this fight, me, since I nearly got killed on 9|11. Rock has some nerve since he probably went to school in Queens with people who were killed then.
He's got to take his issues to therapy, not obsessively projecting them on American television audiences.
I'm beyond anger. I take this as entertainment and politically advantageous. If you can't shut them up, then let them make asses of themselves. The majority know the truth.
I think the Trots gave Malcolm a forum and a publishing contract. That relationship with the SWP was too short to see how it would play out, since Malcolm was killed weeks after he began that association.
I've a better opinion of X than Stanley, who I have a great deal of admiration and respect for. However, we would never know.
The thing about X was he woke up during his Haj. I think he was still shaking off the sleep of hate when he died, but again, to quote Fats Waller--one never knows, do one?
They really couldn't. Politically impossible. You had to have a "perfect storm" of Palestinian savagery to convince a majority to support this move--and to get American support.
The Palestinians will never achieve a viable independence anyway. Both areas will remains seeping geopolitical eyesores, not fit for more than a recruiting station for AQ and 7/11.
He can afford one with all the cash he boosted from his protection rackets. He's still strictly off the rack though, but he is a fashion improvement from that slovenly gay guy that was his boss.
That fence can't be finished soon enough. Also, if this is Islamic Jihad, then there's nothing out there for Sharon to call in a Kurdish and Druze favor or two and have them cut a Saudi throat or two during Haj season.
