I was hoping to catch the forecast watching Boston local news but got distracted and missed it. We’re under a water ban and could use a couple inches of wet stuff.

It is heartbreaking. Trisha, this must be partly was that guy was openly sobbing. He sisn’t say anything about anyone dying but he did say he was across the street from the school.
More victims are being found dead and 85 people (65 of them children) are in a level one trauma center.
The children they were looking for in a collapsed school are all dead. Twenty-four of them. The seven they have recovered are said to have drown in the school basement.
Never experienced a tornado and can only try to imagine the horror, fear and loss!
A few years ago standing in a bay window watching a nasty storm when I witnessed a micro burst speed a path across my field of vision. I saw it twist trees, stripped them of their leaves and brake some. Trees that were hit that day and remained standing are dying - must be internal damage.
What I saw was a microcosm compared to tornado alley’s devastation
