What would another great depression look like anyway? The great depression was way before my time and whenever I hear the words "great depression" the black and white documentary photographs by Walker Evens run through my mind. I can't relate to it, it's a thing of the past in history books. Unemployment, agriculture, industry & labor were all affected and this brought in the New Deal. Ok, so today I was with my family in our 5 mile radius subdivision which ranged from incomes of 40K - 350K. We sat in a fast food chain for breakfast. Just 1 mile...
  • 2008 Campaign similar to movie Braveheart

    10/24/2008 12:34:55 PM PDT · by klimeckg · 21 replies · 1,687+ views
Last night I was looking for a movie to rent, so I finally downloaded Braveheart. The politics are quite similar to today's election. The king of England decides to breed out the Scotts. The Scottish Lords are in bed with the King of England and rampant betrayal prevails till the end. That being said, I think that there are alliances and loyalties to the Clinton's to ruin the Obama election which will be blamed on republicans in order to set up 2012 for Hillary, even though she claims publicly that she is finished. Finally, I think that Joe Biden is...
  • Having Foreign Policy Credentials Is A Plus But Not A Requirement for President or VP.

Having a foreign policy background in your resume is a plus when running for the office of the President but it's not a requirement is it? We see that with Obama, he doesn't have a inch of foreign policy experience and he is running for the Presidency. So, why is the media leaning so hard on Palin trying desperately to expose her lack. 1st off, she is running for the VP not President. Obama has no international experience so he picks Biden to balance his ticket and McCain lacks conservative Reagan values so he picked Palin. McCain has war experience,...
  • Obama Biden is a Democrat Dole Kemp Ticket

    08/28/2008 7:36:52 PM PDT · by klimeckg · 18 replies · 147+ views
Whenever Biden points his finger at someone and smiles, I think of Bob Dole and Jack Kemp and Kemp doing that STUPID fake football pass to a person! Why do the Demorats try to paint a picture that we are all living in a great depression? Ya know, Bush made a lot of compassionate promises to be elected in 2000 and then we were attacked and it Changed him. The attack in 911 was due to Bill Clintons 8 years of loose securities which allowed the muslims to plot and attack.
  • Will we see Riots if McCain Wins?

I think we will see riots nation wide if McCain wins the election. Similar to the Rodney King riots.

  • The Founding Fathers were Deists, So Is Mitt Romney's Mormonism keeping you from voting for him?

Thomas Paine and the Age of Reason Thomas Paine is sometimes grouped with the Founding Fathers. Your daily newspaper might reinforce this view with editorials like this: Franklin, Washington, Jefferson, Paine and most of our other patriarchs were at best deists, believing in the unmoved mover of Aristotle, but not the God of the Old and New Testaments.[1] It would be difficult to name a single one of the Founding Fathers who approved of Paine's Age of Reason, his famous tract attacking religion in general and evangelical Christianity in particular. Even less-than-evangelicals like Benjamin Franklin and the "Unitarians" all denounced...
  • From a Biblical perspective: Why Hillary Rodham Clinton will never lead this country.

Holy Bible Recovery Version Judges 4:1 footnote 4 one
God’s raising up a female, Deborah, as a judge of Israel was extraordinary, indicating that all the men of Israel had failed God, forcing Him to raise up a women. In the Bible a proper female indicates one who is in submission to God, one who keeps God’s ordination. This is the position that Israel should have taken before God, but Israel violated God’s ordination, leaving her position as God’s wife and forsaking Him for hundreds of idols. This brought Israel into a miserable situation and condition. Although Deborah was a very capable person, she was very submissive. God made...
  • Phonetically, Obama & Osama are too close and it's an unfortunate last name.

Every time I hear the name Barack Obama, my mind thinks of Osama Bin Laden. His last name is phonetically to close to Osama. Obamas own name will prevent him from the presidency and the vp.
  • Glenn Beck On TV (CNN)....Hmmm where did I see this before....would it have been by RUSH!

    07/29/2006 7:16:59 PM PDT · by klimeckg · 106 replies · 2,689+ views
I was working in San Juan, Puerto Rico staying at a Marriott property that only had CNN. On Thursday I clicked through the channels to find a Glenn Beck TV show. I was quite shocked to see him on a CNN funded station. I am not a Glenn Beck fan because I find him to be too obnoxious and he irritates. Although he seems to do his homework, he is just way too much and after seeing his television show, I had to eventually turn it off. Again he is just too much with his humor and sarcasm and it...
  • Typical: CNN giving airtime to WHO Al-Zarqawi was rather than HOW the US Eliminated Him!

    06/08/2006 1:39:54 PM PDT · by klimeckg · 40 replies · 339+ views
I'm in the airport once again suffering from the CNN Airport Terminal monopoly. It seems to me that CNN is more interested in subtly strressing Who Al-Zarqawi was and sort of giving him praisies rather than degrading him even more by focusing in on how the US troops tracked him down and killed him! And of course that have the idiot Congressman Muderer on.
  • Movie "Crusader" portrays the thoughts of the big Networks.

    10/25/2005 11:06:55 PM PDT · by klimeckg · 157+ views
In the 2005 movie "Crusader" Michael York plays the role of a big network boss. Check out one of the lines his character says: "The internet is dangerous, it allows people to get information they cannot be trutsed with. It must be controlled, step by step." When I heard this, I instantly thought of Freerepublic and the threat it poses to the big networks. The movie was poor and the acting was bad. Too bad, I kind of liked the story line.
  • Islamic Supermarket Seems Peculiar

    3/24/05
There has been an abandoned building in my neighborhood for the last 4 years. It may have been abandoned longer, but that was before my time. Regardless, it has recently had a make over. As you can see in the photos below, it appears that a new supermarket is coming to town. What a strange logo for a supermarket. Is that oil gushing up from the desert? Can anyone tell me if this ZAM ZAM Supermarket is legitimate? I am curious who they are and where the money is coming from. It may very well be on the up and...

Hi, I am searching for the for the transcript of the 2005 Inaugural Invocation by Reverend Dr. Luis León. The Reverend uses the phrase "life-giving Spirit" which to me is not a small thing. I would like a confirmation of this to show it to others in the church. I have gone to the following websites and did not find anything: http://www.inaugural05.com http://inaugural.senate.gov http://www.whitehouse.gov/inaugural/index.html. I'd appreciate your help, Regards, Gary

If you watch Special Report w/ Brit Hume he has the Fox All Stars at the end. Have you ever noticed when Fred Barnes is not there, the NPR people get out of control but when Fred returns they calm down. It seems that they intimidated by Fred Branes.

  • iPod, therefore i Am. Steve Jobs may want to reconsider.

    07/18/2004 3:37:54 PM PDT · by klimeckg · 147 replies · 2,588+ views
If you have not seen the cover of Newsweek, it shows the face of Steve Jobs of Apple computer holding an iPod. The heading reads: iPod, therefore i Am. Now this was not as blatant as John Lennon saying that the Beatles were greater than Jesus Christ, but it comes very close. If one recalls, John Lennon did not live a long life. And it is reported that Wang computers fell due to such boasting. I am told that Mr. Wang put his name in big letters on the top of the Wang building in Boston. When asked why he...
