  • G-20: Obama Gives Press the Slip

You are correct. There was no soccer game scheduled. Had he been a republican the press would have investigated his whereabouts to death.

Every light in our place is on. We set 3 timers so we wouldn’t forget. Hope at least one lib drives up our rural Vermont road to see the lights. My motto is “annoy a lib today.”

Man, what a difference between the women on Fox and the rest of the channels. Do these other stations troll under bridges for their “talent.”

So what are Bahar’s ratings? 25 or 30 people tops?

Ditto to you Soul Seeker. I would be very surprised if she goes negative on JD. She believes in the Reagan 11th commandment. Don’t believe she would allow the McCain folks to make her say anything she doesn’t want to say.

Lets keep our powder dry. This constant rush to judgment when someone we like doesn’t stay in lock step with us is very annoying. There is no perfect candidate. I’m with Palin. She says if on most issues you are in agreement with a candidate then vote for him/her. There is never going to be a candidate we all agree with 100%. But, turning our backs on someone because we don’t like one particular thing they do or say just shows me how little loyalty some of us have. That is not a good trait.

I can’t stand McCain. He’s a phony who is running to the right to garner support in the primary. If he wins in November he’ll be right back to his old tricks and drive us all nuts. However, I’m not going to fault Palin for endorsing him. She’s loyal and I greatly admire that in a person. Think about it. Had she decided to say or do nothing she would have been trashed (as usual) for not supporting McCain when he has been the one person in his campaign who never says anything negative about her. Had she decided to support JD I shudder to think about the negative press that could actually hurt JD.

Be advised that the first time McCain ran for president against Bush JD was a big McCain supporter. However, people who knew him personally knew he had no use for McCain but really had to support him because they were both republicans from Arizona. Sometimes people have to do things that go against their grain but that’s life and that’s especially politics.

Bottom line is she’s loyal and that’s a wonderful trait. I appreciate her loyalty and admire her even more. BTW, I think most of the republicans who don’t want McCain won’t vote for him in the primary even with her endorsement. I daresay John McCain won’t garner many primary votes with Sara by his side because the people know what a dope he really can be. What she will do for him is probably bring in money and that’s too bad.

  • Gibbs Mocks Palin And Writes Shopping List On Hand

Those people have Palin derangement syndrome. How many times have people thought of something, not had paper and written it down on their hand? People make notes for themselves all the time. Is there supposed to be some sort of difference between writing oneself a note on a post-it as opposed to their hand. Geez, that dope Gibbs probably thinks writing a speech on the back of an envelope indicates stupidity.

All this shows is how much of a threat Palin is to their power. Whether she runs or not she is a force to be reckoned with and that drives them crazy. Plus, she looks like a million bucks unlike the broads they worship.

If bho did as good a job running the country as Palin did with Alaska I would probably vote for him. However, that’s never going to happen because he doesn’t have her common sense.

I’m sure this boob would have said the same thing about Ronald Reagan. If you’re not a lib you’re stupid. It’s as simple as that with these people. Did it every occur to these dopes that perhaps the simple solution is the best? You know, things like save health care dollars with tort reform, buying policies across states lines and dealing with the waste, fraud and abuse in medicare and medicaid. Too simple for Senator Kauffman? I submit he’s the stupid one.

Speaking of hate, did you see the Dana Milbank piece about Scott Brown? Dripping with hate.

I’ve been listening to Scott on Howie Carr’s show for years. He’s not the most eloquent speaker but don’t let that fool anyone. He’s no dope. I think the dems are going to underestimate him. Also have a feeling he’s not going to do what so many republicans do and try to make nice with the press. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.

No. It was on Drudge and somewhere else (don’t remember). They or their staffs who do some of their research should have seen it. Besides, I don’t have email addresses for them. They get so many emails and I’m guessing if one does not subscribe to their paid sites the chances of getting one through are slim to none.

Perhaps not defend. Just more fodder for the has been media to use to make her look bad to people who read the paper or watch TV and don’t know anything about her other than what they read of see. We don’t need our guys providing that fodder.

Here’s the problem. I know people who liked her initially. Unfortunately they are not talk radio listeners or Fox news folks. They just read their local paper and watch the evening news. Those people have turned on her. That annoys me and what annoys me more is our side helping the has been media in their quest for her destruction.

It’s not a matter of crying for her. I know she’s tough. However, it’s another story when one of our people puts her in a position to have to defend herself.

I love Rush. I’ve been listening since 1988. But, like a member of the family, he really gets on my nerves sometimes when he is completely thoughtless. I know he’s a nice guy. I know he’s a loyal friend. He’s also funny and smart. Maybe that’s why some of the things he does turn me off.

BTW, while I have everyone’s attention, did any of the talk show hosts talk about what Clarence Thomas said about the original reason for banning corporation campaign contributions? I thought that was very important yet I never heard Ingraham, Miller, Beck, Rush or Howie Carr mention it yesterday. Mind you, I obviously didn’t listen to every minute of every show and perhaps I missed it but that would have been something I would have liked to hear our side dwell upon for a while.

I know this is going to annoy people but I have to say it anyway. Rush went way over of the line with his “retard” satire. There is a difference between satire and going far overboard acting like some immature teenage boy. I know he does it for ratings but his over the top repetition of the word has now drawn Sarah Palin into the fray. He loves going way over the line in order to make sure they talk about him on MSNBC (though heaven only knows why). Maybe it brings in more listeners although I usually have to go elsewhere for a period of time when he’s acting like an immature kid. However, I draw the line when his actions hurt someone else and they have hurt Palin. And, to be frank, I even found the drumbeat a bit offensive.

If we are going to obsess about something let’s obsess about how stupid BHO really is. Corpse for Corps? 57 states? One could go on. He’s supposed to be the smartest person on the planet and he proves every day that he’s a dope. Does anyone out there have any proof that this guy is really smart or is everyone just taking the word of the has been media? I suspect the latter.

How many times during the health care debate were we told they were going to have hundreds of billions getting rid of waste, fraud and abuse in medicare and medicaid? Can someone please explain why we have to wait for a health care bill to take care of this problem?

Here’s an idea for saving money on medicare, medicaie and in a lot of other areas of government. Start an incentive program for government employees whereby they get a percentage of the savings every time they find a way to eliminate fraud, waste and abuse. For instance if an employee finds a case where something doesn’t look right with a medicare claim or a series of claims and they investigate or point it out and there is indeed fraud, that employee gets a percentage of whatever the government saves. There would be an incentive for employees to stop treating the money wasted in their departments as though it wasn’t important and start looking at it like it might actually belong to the people of this country. Many corporations do this and save millions. Can you imagine the billions that could be saved if government hacks actually had a reason to want to save money?

I’m going to post this idea every darn time I see a piece on saving money in government. This is so easy to understand. Republicans should be shouting this from the rooftops.
