Doh....I fell asleep! Just listening to the replay and going on X to look for crowd pics. He sounded great, the part I did catch. He looks great in that sunlight and they love him! USA USA USA
Lol, between you and me, norsky, it’s not worth it. It doesn’t happen that often, and the dog doesn’t come with an on/off switch, so I’d be dealing with him instead!
I can sure understand that. Actually, if I thought that was the case, I would be welcoming to the person. This was not the case....
I know a few people who think nothing of doing this - they are extended “family.” They actually think so highly of themselves (don’t ask me why as I have yet to figure that out) that they assume people would just love to see them whether invited or not, and they don’t even call. Just knock on the door and expect a warm welcome, because who wouldn’t want them over?

Ok, I am going to ask you guys, because I want some opinion here.
Do any of you NOT like the pop-in? I hate to sound unfriendly, but the other day I had a couple pop in for a visit, no phone call, just out of the blue. I hadn’t had my shower, my place needed some sprucing up because I have been outside so much, I had no goodies to offer them with coffee or tea, and was out of milk for the tea.
It had nothing to do with the people - I quite like them! I have to admit that I really don’t like people dropping in without calling me ahead of time! Preferably at least a day or two, and asking me if I feel like company. Does that sound anti-social? Maybe it’s being selfish, but I was just wanting to sit outside and read my book (The Robe) and do nothing.
Am I the only one who feels this way? I know they don’t come to see my house or expect goodies, but I still like to be prepared when someone is coming over. Ok, tell me truthfully if anyone else feels this way or it’s only me.
I’ve never had a hot dog done quite that way. Burnt beyond recognition? I dunno if I’d like it quite that well done. I do like those little grill lines to be black though.
I have one of those coffee machines that has one side with the regular coffee pot and attached is the K cup dispenser. I don’t use the pot for coffee any longer, but it does make a delightful cup of tea! I thought that was novel, but hot dogs!? Eh gad.
Oh wow. What a horrible thing to do to a neighbor. Yeah, I guess in this day and age they don’t really care - they can scratch it off their “list” and be done with it. Unbelievable.
