October 10, 2006 -- News Corp. will broadcast its sports and entertainment programming live in Times Square after locking up a lease for one of the splashiest big screens in the ad-filled area. The media giant signed a 10-year lease, along with co-sponsor and consumer electronics maker Panasonic, for the 1,400-square- foot Astrovision screen at One Times Square. The companies didn't disclose the financial terms.
