Elizabeth Warren, who has railed against predatory banks and heartless foreclosures, took part in about a dozen Oklahoma real estate deals that netted her and her family hefty profits through maneuvers such as “flipping” properties, records show. A Herald review has found that the Democratic U.S. Senate candidate rapidly bought and sold homes herself, loaned money at high interest rates to relatives and purchased foreclosed properties at bargain prices.

Actually, I know the answer to my own question. The answer is manyfold: Hussein has lifted the drilling moratorium; Hussein approved Keystone; Hussein has opened domestic exploration, drilling, and production; Hussein has opened the "strategic reserve"; Hussein didn't actually "invest" all those billions in Brazil's, etc. petroleum industries, he invested it our petroleum industry; Hussein Obama pees oil thereby increasing domestic supply driving the price down; isn't Obama wonderful? NOT I'm not an industry economist so what did I miss? Don't tell me it's all because of Memorial Day and summer's arrival, that doesn't make sense. This is not an...

I feel something washing over me. I’m standing in New Jersey, so it’s probably red ink. No, wait a minute — it’s glowing ink! It could only be one thing: more conservative hagiography about the Garden State’s GOP governor. Chris Christie is so not one of us that articles like “Christie Is One of Us” — a new contribution to the genre, from National Review’s Noah Glyn — are churned out regularly as the governor’s smitten admirers, from Ann Coulter to NR staffers, labor to convince us of what they’ve convinced themselves of: that an ostensibly gruff, internally milquetoast, progressive-lite,...

I had somehow forgotten that Winston Churchill’s grandmother was one-quarter Iroquois indian, which makes Winston (if I’ve done my genealogical math correctly) one-sixteenth native American–twice as much as Elizabeth Warren supposedly is. Let’s see the diversity-mongers explain this away. Roosevelt commented to Churchill during one of WSC’s wartime visits, “You know, Winston, my Dutch ancestors were among the very first settlers in what was then called Nieuw Amsterdam.” Churchill answered: “But, Franklin, it was my ancestors, the American Indians, who greeted them.” Maybe now Obama will feel comfortable putting the Churchill bust back in the Oval Office.

Dozens of Afghanistan and Iraq war veterans who say NATO's military policies are a failure took their combat medals and threw them away in a symbolic event following a rally and march. The vets literally tossed their medals when the march stopped near McCormick Place where dignitaries, world leaders and NATO brass were discussing world events. Veterans took the microphone one-by-one at a rally after a more than 2-mile march to the summit site from a downtown Chicago park. One veteran was 30-year-old Erica Slone of Cambridge, Ohio. Slone says her service taught her integrity and if she wants to...

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s estranged wife, Mary, who battled her husband’s rumored philandering by turning to alcohol and prescription drugs, hanged herself in a barn on their Westchester estate yesterday, sources told The Post. The 52-year-old mother of four — the latest victim of a family dynasty cursed with tragedies — may have taken her own life because she was haunted by her broken marriage, her friends lamented. “She was deeply troubled, abusing alcohol and prescription meds,” a close family friend said. “She had cause. She was used up and tossed away by Bobby. That was awful.”

Out: Elizabeth Warren, Native American. In: Elizabeth Warren, Jacksonian Democrat. Man, in hindsight it’s a good thing she didn’t attend the annual Harvard Powwow yesterday after all, huh? Awwwk-ward. As I pointed out in my article here on Sunday, no evidence supports this claim [that her great-great-great grandmother was Cherokee]. O.C. Sarah Smith Crawford had no Cherokee heritage, was listed as “white” in the Census of 1860, and was most likely half Swedish and half English, Scottish, or German, or some combination thereof. (Note, the actual 1894 marriage license makes no claim of Cherokee ancestry.) But the most stunning discovery...

In his latest display of his full USA federal government dictatorship over both the American people and the former co-branches of government, Dictator Obama is warning the Supreme Court to either rule in his favor or face severe consequences. Fox News’ Martha McCallum advised Thursday that the Obama Administration has been quietly sending missives to the Supreme Court threatening that if it doesn’t rule in his favor on ObamaCare, Medicare will face disruption and “chaos.” Therefore, if SCOTUS rules in favor of the US Constitution, Obama & Co will begin its campaign to either destroy Medicare or make those on...

Jen Rubin suggests(also, says he was forced out by anti-gay conservatives) that he quit in frustration, because Romney was too afraid of social conservative disapproval to let him speak for the campaign right now even though the OBL anniversary has pushed foreign policy front and center in the campaign. True?

The American Action Network, a super-PAC that backs establishment Republicans, has pulled out of Indiana's Senate race, the latest bad omen for Sen. Richard Lugar (R-Ind.). "We've decided we're going to let this race play out," AAN spokesman Dan Conston told The Hill Friday evening.

Allen West’s comments that there are nearly 80 Communists in the House just won’t go away. And CNN is making sure of that. CNN anchor Soledad O’Brien, for example, had a testy exchange with West on Thursday morning, confronting him on the remarks and demanding he “name names.” From the beginning, O’Brien was combative, vehemently disagreeing with Allen West regarding Ted Nugent’s controversial recent comments. Then they turned to West’s own remarks. After playing the clip, O’Brien asked him about it, and West said that Communists have “renamed themselves progressive” but the ideology has stayed the same. Mediaite picks it...

She always called him “Mr. President” — not Jack. He refused to kiss her on the lips when they made love. But Mimi Alford, a White House intern from New Jersey, was smitten nonetheless. She was in the midst of an 18-month affair with the most powerful man in the world, sharing not only John F. Kennedy’s bed but also some of his darkest and most intimate moments. In her explosive new tell-all, “Once Upon a Secret: My Affair with President John F. Kennedy and Its Aftermath,” Alford, now a 69-year-old grandmother and retired New York City church administrator, sets...

Rick Perry confronts Politico's Mike Allen in person over the publication's report that unnamed members of his senior staff are blaming the way the campaign was handled for what has resulted thus far. Transcript of the exchange below: Mike Allen, Politico: "Governor, some of your staffers have told us that you ran this as a gubernatorial campaign for too long and you didn't look big enough, get big enough, fast enough. Do you take some responsibility?" Gov. Rick Perry: "I don't know who you are talking to, so I can't respond unless you give me a name." Allen: "These are...

Former “Saturday Nigh Live” actress Victoria Jackson is facing some criticism over recent comments she made on “Politichicks,” a web talk show she co-hosts. During a recent episode, Jackson contended that the Muslim Brotherhood — the same Islamist group that has been winning Middle Eastern elections — has infiltrated the American government at its highest levels.

Well I tell ya Greta, give me the opportunity to be in leadership in Washington DC and I think you’d see something different. Because coming out of the military, we didn’t go home until the mission was complete. So maybe that’s what the American people need to understand. It’s about time we take a chance with some of the young leaders that we have sent to Washington DC and move away from this establishment rhetoric and this game that they play in Washington DC.

Vladimir Putin has launched an extraordinary attack on US Senator John McCain in which he also implicated Washington in the killing of Libyan dictator Col Muammar Gaddafi. The Russian prime minister called the former presidential candidate “nuts” in response to Twitter comment about Russia’s parliamentary elections that drew allegations of fraud and triggered large protests. Mr McCain’s tweet read: "Dear Vlad, The Arab Spring is coming to a neighbourhood near you." Mr Putin turned stony faced when asked about the tweet on his annual televised phone-in. "Mr McCain fought in Vietnam. I think that he has enough blood of peaceful...

What I changed my mind about is whether -- by the way I changed my mind three months after that on a FOX News show because the economy was so bad. I said, look, I'm generally a pessimist for running against -- actually, maybe I'm not. We have a popular Democratic president, who does has an attractive family, has the entire mainstream behind him, and he's an incumbent. That is why I thought the candidate we ran would lose. I no longer think. I now think Obama has a glass jaw, and I said that a few months after that...
