Birdy Birdy in the sky
Dropped some whitewash in my eye
I sure am glad that cows don't fly
But now that cows can get bird flu then they can fly, what will we do one is overhead, I'm filled with dread while this wasn't in today's plan I'll hope that load hits another man.
We have a gas dryer (Sears Kenmore model IIRC) that was bought in the 1970’s. It still works great. The repair guy recommends that we never get rid of this one. He says the new machines are junk compared to the older ones. The only thing it ever needs is the occasional belt (around the drum) that wears out.
I had a 26 CU FT Hotpoint refrigerator/freezer that I bought in July 1989. When I sold the townhouse in January 2017 it was still working fine. The only repair I had to do was replace the plastic tubing leading to the water into the door.
The best refrigerator freezer we ever owned was bought before this one in the 1970's. We still have that one to this day. It works great.
I heard about this shooting nightly on the news, but the reason is that I live in Columbus. Since it was black on black crime, there is no interest in reporting this story in the national news media.
I hear they are getting close. Theuy have tried 1% for the big guy, 2% for the big guy. etc. It is just a matter of time before they guess the correct password ====> "10% for the big guy".
I'm all electric in Georgia and have central air with a heat pump.
December 2022 bill was $69.09. Heat set at 55 degrees January 2023 was $155.12. Heat set at 74 for most of the month and recently raised it to 76 degrees.
Okay, December was very low because I was on vacation for 26 of those days. When I was in Southern California my natural gas bill was NEVER more than $40 a month in the winter. I had gas heating and stove there.
