You’re defending something you never saw. Nor would I wish that on you.

No!   I am not defending the human garbage that you are defending.   I am defending the future of my country.

If your images get deleted keep in mind that the mods decided that the images were inappropriate for use on FR. Not the person reporting it.

Keep in mind that the clown who created and posed for the images were creating filth inappropriate for use on FR.

How can you worship such a vulgar man that would create such pieces of filth?

So far you keep describing yourself as a conservative which is what we usually see from the libertarians here it is like talking to Mormons, milk before meat.

My only hope is for you to recognize how much the ugly, stupid and pitiful Libertarian Party has given a bad rap to small "l" libertarianism.   It's not at all the same.

    I have no clue what you are referring to with that Mormon comment, but I suspect that it's not kosher at all.   :^{

This is a contradiction in terms “Conservative libertarian” conservatives are not liberals, you are a liberal that shares some positions with conservatives.

Have you ever heard of a classical liberal?

Classical liberalism gained full flowering in the early 18th century, building on ideas starting at least as far back as the 16th century, within the Iberian, British, and Central European contexts, and it was foundational to the American Revolution and "American Project" more broadly.[6][7][8] Notable liberal individuals whose ideas contributed to classical liberalism include John Locke,[9] Jean-Baptiste Say, Thomas Malthus, and David Ricardo. It drew on classical economics, especially the economic ideas as espoused by Adam Smith in Book One of The Wealth of Nations, and on a belief in natural law,[10] social progress,[11] and utilitarianism.[12] In contemporary times, Friedrich Hayek, Milton Friedman, Ludwig von Mises, Thomas Sowell, George Stigler, Larry Arnhart, Ronald Coase and James M. Buchanan are seen as the most prominent advocates of classical liberalism.

However, other scholars have made reference to these contemporary thoughts as neoclassical liberalism, distinguishing them from 18th-century classical liberalism.[15][16]

I am a Conservative, yet I acknowledge my roots and inspirations.

Look at these words from the Republican Liberty Caucus:

    Liberty Compact: A Candidate's Pledge

The Liberty Compact is a written pledge inspired by the words of the late Sen. Barry Goldwater (R-AZ) in his book, "Conscience of a Conservative," which promotes the belief that government isn't the solution, but all too often, the problem. The pledge reads as follows:

"I, (insert name), pledge to the citizens of the State of (insert state) and to the American people, that as their elected representative I will work to: Restore liberty, not restrict it; shrink government, not expand it; reduce taxes, not raise them; abolish programs, not create them; promote the freedom and independence of citizens, not the interference of government in their lives; and observe the limited, enumerated powers of our Constitution, not ignore them."

Barry Goldwater was the political founder of our modern day Conservative movement when he wrested control of the Republican Party from the liberal Rockefeller Republicans and paved the way for every Republican President since.

You need to stop telling me what you think I am or am not, because you seem clueless about what a Conservative actually is.

Lest you try to say I am a social liberal I'll tell you, I am against abortion, transgenderism, gay marriage, trans competing against women, trans story hour, made up pronouns, female clergy, communism/fascism along with any or all of it's socialist mutations, nationalized healthcare, defunding the police, zero bail, plea-bargaining, the Democrat Party and many other things that most conservatives are against.

My wife of one month less than fifty years was a stay at home mother and only worked outside of our home for a couple of months at three different businesses over a couple of years.   She, after being upset that men were trying to hit on her at work because she was such a heart stoppingly beautiful woman, asked me if she could give up working.   Being the "liberal" husband that I am, I told her that was her choice, so she quit and never went back to work again.   I've lived the life of a Conservative libertarian in its Classical definition.  Ask my beautiful wife if you srtill don't believe me.

Libertarian conservatism advocates the greatest possible economic liberty and the least possible government regulation of social life (described as "small government"), mirroring laissez-faire classical liberalism, but harnesses this to a belief in a more socially conservative philosophy emphasizing authority, morality, and duty.[1] Primarily an American ideology, libertarian conservatism prioritizes liberty, promoting free expression, freedom of choice and free-market capitalism to achieve conservative ends while rejecting liberal social engineering.[9]
I am not making this up.

This is a conservative site, if you are conservative then why not just say you are conservative.

Because being a Conservative has become too broad a descriptor.   I agree that I am a Conservative libertarian or Goldwater Republican which is the same thing.   That does not go against my assertion that I am a small "l" libertarian.   I need to emphasize that, in order to separate myself from the War Hawk Neo-Cons who might be considered to be grouped in with Conservatives.

What social liberalism are you talking about?   A small "l" libertarian woes not have a platform to adhere to.

For example I consider myself a small "l" libertarian and am against abortion, for a controlled border allowing no illegals cross, and above that I would probably agree with you about everything but your stance on Ukraine.

What you quoted is basically the NAP which is a nice sounding but unenforceable dictum. If some libertarians are for abortion and others aren’t, then what does the NAP really accomplish?

What is the NAP?   What does that mean?

Also a small "l" libertarian doesn't have anybody telling him how or what to think about anything.

My doctor told me to take D3 a couple of years ago.

But above that, because I am one of those "picky eaters" you may have heard of, I have been taking supplements for almost 40 years.   In the 1980's I found Dr. Earl Mindell's Vitamin Bible and read it cover to cover, then put together my on regimen with adjustments made through the years.

The generations of voters who founded America would be lynching libertarians.

I specifically stated the difference between the Libertarian Party and the libertarian.

    From Wikipedia:

The term libertarianism refers to a political philosophy maintaining that all persons are the absolute owners of their own lives, and should be free to do whatever they wish with their persons or property, provided they allow others the same liberty and avoid harming others by abusing their liberty.

Our Founding Fathers would not lynch small "l" libertarians.

I am actually angry at this idiot that wrote this article for attempting to equate Ayn Rand with Karl Marx.   Ayn Rand suffered under the Russian Revolution and therefore was vehemently against collectivism of any kind.   "The Virtue of Selfishness" as the book was called was not advocating greed, but "enlightened self interest" meaning that every person should be properly remunerated for the work he does.

This guy needs to read all four fiction works:

    We the Living. 1936 & 1959.
    Anthem. 1938 & 1946.
    The Fountainhead. 1943.
    Atlas Shrugged. 1957.
I have and I'm better for it.   This is how against Marxism and all of the other collectivist subsets.
I swear by my life and my love of it that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.

Small "l" libertarians is what our founders were.   Where the Libertarian Party gets it wrong is that it is a hodge·podge of disillusioned Democrats and disenfranchised Republicans, mixed in with clowns and jokers.   They can phrase a platform plank that on the surface can appeal to either side on the surface yet in practice the outcome would be a disaster.

I remember one of the questions to identify political bent for the Nolan Chart was, "should peaceful people be allowed cross borders freely?"   As our Founding Fathers understood it, the answer is a resounding, Yes!   Yet in our day and age, who will be the arbiter of determining who is peaceful and who will wake up and recognize an invasion?   Just to let you know how invested in this I was, I once sat next to David Nolan at a $100.00 dinner.

The fact that every ballot within the LP convention must have the choice "NOTA" (none of the above), means an inevitable schism is always just around the corner.   A schism like there was after 9/11 when those in the Libertarian Party who saw the attacks by Islam was initiation of force (thus requiring a principled libertarian response), and those that thought the use of force by Islam was retaliation for initiation of force by the the US (Paulists, etc.) against Islam, caused half of the the LP to grab their balls and go home.
