Did anybody see the NCAA UNC-Washington game that just ended? The (African-American) CBS announcer made that statement while comparing the player's height to his wingspan. I was just thinking if the announcer were white, he'd be having a "Jimmy the Greek" moment right about now...

Ironic that he is a banker, the family biz. Reminds me of the joke, how do you become a millionaire vineyard owner? Start out as a billionaire and open a vineyard. Or something like that...

I missed the very start, but Bristol has not gone yet. They are doing a rehearsed dance, then they have to draw a CD for a random song for the second dance. Kurt Warner has so much charisma; I hope he can go on.

That is one big tumor! Prayers for them.

I didn't know any of these people, but they had on Robin Quivers (Howard Stern sidekick), the mom from Malcolm In the Middle (who won), and some blonde gal from Mad Men. I know it's for charity, but they should IQ test these people. "Robin" rang in on exactly one clue in the entire first round, and finished with $1 after going into Final Jeopardy with 1/3 the money of the nearest competitor. Final Jeopardy was "Film Directors": This popular director from the '30s and '40s had such sentimental works that his name was often associated with the word "corn"....

I am an avid tennis fan, but why must the players be so obnoxious? One of America's "sweethearts", Melanie Oudin, won today, while screaming "COME ON!" at the top of her lungs even on points when her opponent made an error, which I consider poor sportsmanship. She seems to model herself after Sharapova, who does the same thing. And then there's the grunting and squealing. Overall, the women are harder to watch than the men without using the mute button, IMO.

Interestingly, if you watch the video or read the story, you fail to find any "controversy", other than perhaps invented by the reporter, and the Dem guy who SPECULATES "hatred" might be involved, but he has no evidence of that, and they present no reports of actual complaints. If the story gets legs, they will no doubt play the race card next.

Fox this AM is talking about a St. Louis pizza shop that has a board featuring The Obama Pizza, order XL and get a small, etc. What are your ideas?

Classy Serena will not be able to play in the U.S. Open, thus making all the line judges safer, unless she threatens to "shove a ball down their f'ing throat" from the stands. I don't understand the nature of her glass cut - how can something that severe happen in a restaurant that it requires foot surgery, for pete's sake? An additional benefit to her absence will be that we don't have to look at her horrendous wardrobe choices. OMG.

Ann Curry did a lengthy interview with McCain this AM and moved to talking about the "violence and incendiary behavior" after the HC bill passed. Just before the 5 minute point in the video, she brings up Sarah Palin's Facebook post about "reloading" after the vote, and a map on Palin's PAC site that features crosshairs on states with vulnerable Congress members. Curry implies these things are stoking the violence and tries at least 3 times to get McCain to condemn it and promise to give Sarah a talking-to when she comes to campaign for him, but to his credit...

Headline is "Bill Cosby irked by interruption from publicist," or something like that, but after watching the video I wonder if she was trying to stop him from rambling or drifting off.

The video tells the story, plus "Spork" has a Save Spork Facebook page. The city of Lafayette is choosing to supercede CO law.

Is anyone watching Fox at this hour? I swear when Gratchen just did a tease going into commercial she mentioned eating fatty foods before the "lentil" season instead of the lenten season. I for one, would be willing to give up lentils for Lent...

What a sloppy game. And I think Pat Summerall has dementia - maybe you should retire if you can't even tell if a FG is good or not. For those not watching, it's tied 7 all w/5 min to play.

I am asking to see if anybody knows whether these were TEA Party (House Call) attendees or other people? I suspect the latter, and resent how this was characterized by NBC (implying that they were angry conservatives). I have read elsewhere and watched a video that Operation Rescue ppl as well as one-payer-system advocates were there. The NBC footage shows a young girl - I'm guessing she might be a "Medicare for all" fan? I will try watching again and see if her T-shirt gives a clue.

Just saw him on BOR and thought he looked rather gaunt.

OU-TX tied at 6 all. Bradford out of pads. Anybody know if shoulder surgery would put him out for the year? I assume it would.

After all the hype about this stadium, how stupid is it that punts can (and have) hit the Jumbotron? NBC has been endlessly self-promoting the stadium all week, since they are carrying the game, to the point of putting Al Roker up on a scaffold hanging from it. I'm guessing they conveniently forgot to cover this little controversy. And BTW, half of every NBC "news" and talk show is taken up with promotions and features on their other lame productions - it's kinda pathetic, really. At any rate, I guess it will be raised for the U2 concert, at the...

Jeopardy is having a once monthly celeb show leading up to a million dollar prize for the winner's charity. Andy Richter went absolutely nuclear today and won around $70K for St. Jude's, competing against Wolf Blitzer and Dana Delany (who also beat Wolf's arse). Wolf was SO inept he had to be given house money to compete in Final Jeopardy, and Alex tried to make the excuse that he didn't get the signaling device motion - no, he was standing there like the ignorant, arrogant ass he is. At the end when Andy won, he folded up his arms -...
