Yes, we know the 2008 presidential election is years in the past and will not come around again. The question is, does Sen. Ted Cruz know this? The question arises because the junior senator from Texas, in hot pursuit of the presidency, has chosen a trail blazed by Barack Obama six years ago. Obama was in the midst of his first Senate term when he barged into a field that featured Hillary Clinton, then a second-term senator from New York, and several other seasoned veterans of national politics. The word was audacity, and it was right there in the title...

The Oak Ridge Boys sing a song called G.I. Joe & Lillie which is a tribute to Veterans with a very personal touch by singer Joseph S. Bonsall. The Oak Ridge Boys first sang the song while performing at the American Music Theater in Lancaster, PA, and the audience included his parents as well as forty other veterans from the Southeastern Pennsylvania Veterans Home. Joseph wrote the song to honor them and after they performed it that night there was not a dry eye in the place. If you’d like to read the book G.I. Joe & Lillie it is...

666 has meaning behind it. John the Revelator was Hebrew. He would have known that each Hebrew letter of the alphabet (which is a number too) has a meaning and/or symbol to it. In the scripture it was written as six hundred and sixty six. Not 666. I find the meaning of this is to be "in the end times, a head will emerge, Satan (snake), and will hook people into sin(disbelief in my book). Allow me to show you how it works by viewing this: I believe that the letters used to write six hundred and sixty six would...

(Reuters) - The Obama administration is leaving open the possibility of giving Moscow certain secret data on U.S. interceptor missiles due to help protect Europe from any Iranian missile strike. A deal is being sought by Washington that could include classified data exchange because it is in the U.S. interest to enlist Russia and its radar stations in the missile-defense effort, a Pentagon spokeswoman said Tuesday in written replies to Reuters. No decision has been made yet on whether the United States would offer data about the interceptors' "velocity at burnout," or VBO, said Air Force Lieutenant Colonel April Cunningham,...

Gunny Ermey tells it the way it is: I gotta tell you folks we are having a big problem this year. The economy really sucks! I hate to point fingers at anybody but the present Administration probably had a lot to do with that. And the way I see it they are not going to quit doing it until they bring this Country to it's knees. So, I think we should all rise up and stop this Administration from what they're doing, because they're destroying this Country! They're driving us into bankrupcy so they can impose Socialism on us. And...

Judy Wallman, a professional genealogy researcher here in southern California, was doing some personal work on her own family tree. She discovered that Harry Reid's great-great uncle, Remus Reid, was hanged for horse stealing and train robbery in Montana in 1889. Both Judy and Harry Reid share this common ancestor. The only known photograph of Remus shows him standing on the gallows in Montana territory. On the back of the picture Judy obtained during her research is this inscription: 'Remus Reid, horse thief, sent to Montana Territorial Prison 1885, escaped 1887, robbed the Montana Flyer six times. Caught by Pinkerton...

The AIRE mask is a onceptual device that allows you to charge your iPhone with the power of breath! "The AIRE mask is a concept that hails from the mind of Joao Paulo Lammoglia, where it will rely on the power of your breath, converting it to electricity thanks to tiny wind turbines. All you need to do is ensure the AIRE mask remains connected to an iOS-powered device, breathe as usual, and you are good to go."

Surely it can’t hurt Mitt Romney’s heretofore nonexistent blue collar appeal to have a member of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour endorse him. Grammy-award-winning comedian Jeff Foxworthy, known for his popular “You might be a redneck if … ” series, tweeted his support for Romney yesterday. “Time for Republicans to unite behind Gov. Romney, a great leader who can win the White House and rebuild our economy for all Americans,” the funnyman, known for telling “redneck” jokes, tweeted on Thursday. Romney’s son Tagg called the nod “very cool” on Twitter, writing, “I am a huge Blue Collar Comedy fan.”

The election of President Barack Obama in 2008 triggered an explosion in the number of militias and so-called patriot groups in the United States, the Southern Poverty Law Center reported in its annual tally of such anti-government organizations. There were 149 militias and patriot groups when Obama took office, compared to more than 1,200 today — an increase of 755 percent, the nonprofit civil rights organization reported. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "The increase has just been astounding," said Mark Potok, editor-in-chief of the SPLC report. "The reality is that many of these groups are becoming more and more fearful that Barack Obama will...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijWu7lK7Hss State Rep. Mary Franson has apologized and removed a YouTube video that compared Minnesota’s food stamp program to “feed(ing) the animals.” It started Friday, when Franson, a first-term Republican from Alexandria, posted a week-in-review video on YouTube. She ran through the news about the new state budget forcast and ended with a plea to end child sexual abuse. In between, at about the two-minute mark, she turned to the welfare reform. “I'll read you this little funny clip that we got from a friend. It says, 'Isn't it ironic that the food stamp program, part of the Department...

If chivalry, as the common saying goes, is dead, someone forgot to tell Shane Adams—the host of History's new original reality series, Full Metal Jousting, which aims to resurrect the medieval and renaissance competition as a legitimate sport over 500 years after its heyday. Which isn't to say that things don't get gritty—"Do not stick out your tongue. You will bite it off," Adams advises the series' would-be knights in last night's premiere episode. Full Metal Jousting, which premiered last night, takes 16 amateur competitors and trains them in competitive full-contact jousting, with a $100,000 prize to be awarded to...

I hope this was an accident, a fluke that can be rationally explained. If not, then our news is being censored beyond the wildest excesses of the Soviet Union. And Google, which has already stooped to co-operating with China in similar censorship, may be a co-conspirator. On Saturday, September 12, 2009, President Barack Obama spoke before about 15, 000 people at a healthcare rally in Minneapolis. A few hours earlier, a crowd of between 70,000 and 1,200,000 citizens gathered in Washington, DC to protest excessive federal spending and intervention. I think we can safely conclude that any Tibetan monk or...

House Resolution 615 Over the past few weeks, members of Congress and the American people have come to know the details of the Administration's proposed health care plan. Call it whatever you like, I believe this proposal is nothing more than government-run health care. As a physician, I am amazed at the number of bureaucrats in this House who are quick to claim a government-run health care plan is the reform this country needs. In response to this, I have offered a resolution that will offer members of Congress an opportunity to put their money where their mouth is, and...

Twins -- one aborted, one survives! Sarah tells her story . . . "Twenty-nine years ago, my mother decided to have an abortion. At the time, she was pregnant with twins, but nobody knew this, not even her doctor. My tiny brother and I were both there growing in her womb, until that dreadful day. Before the abortion, we were both alive. Moments later, I was alone. It's frightening to think I was almost aborted when my mom had a D&C abortion. Somehow, miraculously, I survived! My twin brother wasn't so lucky. Andrew was aborted and we lost him forever....
