He tweeted from the party, which gave his location away. The Attorney General’s office would then have reached out to the County Sherriff’s office which as I understand it is the authority that handles such matters. Not that surprising. He let his ego get the better of him.
I took it for a statement or suggestion of your opinion on the subject. Which do you think is the likelier scenario, that this was all part of some plan of his as you suggested, or that he tried to avoid being served and it caught up with him? He could have contacted their office and arranged service at a more suitable time and place, why didn’t he do that?
There’s certainly been enough reporting on this that he would have known. Several service attempts were made in New York, he would almost certainly have ben told of those. I don’t know why he didn’t arrange with them for service at a more discreet time and place.
So he wanted to be embarrassed and humiliated at his own birthday party? Hell of a maneuver.🙄 Why didn’t he simply contact their office and arrange for service at more suitable time and place and avoid this situation in the first place?
It appears that he posted a tweet from Mar-a-Lago in which he taunted the Arizona AG’s office that tipped them off. If so, that was rather careless of him.
