I just got off the phone with my best friend who is contracting in Iraq. he is stationed 7 miles south of Fallujah in a town called Al-Taqdum (sp?). He reports that things are ... interesting. They are taking 5-10 morter strikes a day. He said it was more than at Camp Anaconda. Also he said that the rounds come in during all hours of the day where at Camp Ana they came mostly at night. Apparently the trick that the "insurgents" use is to "ice" the morters so that the round does not drop until the ice melts giving...

It appears that my MSN email account has been hi-jacked by a spammer. Yesterday I started getting "mail undeliverable" messages from MSN. When I reviewed these messages I found that they were sent to people I don't know in an alphabetic manor. I have since virus scanned my computer with corporate Norton (none detected) and changed all my passwords. I am also behind a hardware firewall at work and a software firewall (McAfee) at home Does anyone out here have any experience with this or advise about it ???

It was a warm clear morning as I pulled up in front of the Veterans Hall in downtown Pleasanton. Here's the story ... I got to the airport to fly to "an other state" for an interview. My flight was delayed so I started to go thru my pre-employment packet. I found in this packet a notice that the company not only wanted to drug test which I had grudgingly agreed to but they also wanted a credit report and a driving record. All this for a circuit design job which has NOTHING to do witn finance or driving. I called the company and asked the HR person, " what does credit and driving have to do with designing...
