It’s a good feeling to see SAS members still Active on FreeRepublic. Is that staying power or Stubborn?

I need a cap that says ‘WE AIN’T DEAD YET’!

Went there but only ‘THE RECOUNT’ archive link worked. The other archive links on Wayback Machine posted the message ‘This page is available on the Web’.

    So! What next?

The Alimo-Girl archive is big and valuable. She did a huge amount of work on that.

The motivation for forming SAS was to respond to the Million Mom March. When that was over, SAS’s main purpose expired. The National organization continued for a long time but no longer exist but, As best I know, some state chapters are still active. That’s amazing also considering twenty years.

Remembering those time made me think about Alimo-Girl, another Freeper activist from back then. Looks like we are loosing her? Her web page has been ‘repurposed’. That’s a huge lose to historical data. She had the ‘goods’ on the Clinton crime cartel. I’m gonna miss that. Wish I had some way to archive it.

We organized to oppose the anti 2nd Amendment Million Mom March on Washington and around the Country. The Moms didn’t see it coming. At rally after rally, it was amusing to see their faces when SAS showed in mass.

InTampa/St. Pete, the Mons staged a march across the Gandy fishing bridge from Tampa to St. Pete. When the Moms topped the hump in the middle, they saw the SAS waiting for them on the shore. The SAS lit up with car horns and jeers. They couldn’t believe their eyes. The air just blew out of their baloon. There were lots of women that wanted to keep their guns??

The SAS rally in D.C. was huge. Speakers and supportes from all over the Country.

Five women, starting on the FreeRepublic, did that. What an accomplishment. It was an honor to work with them.

You got it! Valerie Jarrett runs the White House and Michelle wears the pants. Barry does what he’s told. Barry is less informed than Sergeant Schultz on Hogan’s Heroes.

When government is out to regulate you, your business or your industry into the de-facto status of a public utility, or government is looking at your bank accounts as more worthy of a tax increase (even a de-facto tax increase) simply because of the size of your account balances compared to others, then how is it not your right to try to promote individuals who may reduce government’s antagonisms toward you?

Some large corporations represent more individuals (employees and stockholders) than any of the members of the House of Representatives and many Senators

I agree! I'm thinking that the process has been corrupted by concentrating power in the few members of the 'Super Committee' and will in turn concentrate the lobbying and corruption. It's corruption when the lobbying is contrary to your interest.

Can’t some kind of ethics blanket be thrown over these exhalted to keep them from accepting any political contributions?

Any attempt to limit political influence drives those efforts underground where there is less visibility and more risk of corrupting politicians. If that's possible!

"There is no distinctly native American criminal class except Congress." - - - Mark Twain, Pudd'nhead Wilson's New Calendar.

Consider that Mark Twain died in 1910, three years before the Sixteenth Amendment implemented Federal Income Tax. And, twenty five years before the Social Security tax and ponzi scheme was imposed, without a Constitutional amendment. And about one hundred years before Pilosi, Reid, and Obama implemented socialism in our country.

If Twain thought congress was a worthless bunch of boobs over one hundred years ago, just think what he would be saying today. Most likely, "Goodby!" as he set sail to someplace more accommodating to freedom. Where ever that is!!

Any baby born to an illegal in the U.S. can be called an 'anchor baby'.

My problem is with the millions of Mexican women that enter the U.S. for a few days or, in some cases, hours, for the specific purpose of having the baby on U.S. soil and for no other reason.

Now, maybe we need a different combinations of words to communicate the concept. A baby born to an illegal in Seattle, in a hospital, is different than a baby born less than a mile from the Mexican Border in a midwife's home. Born there for the specific purpose of anchoring the family in the U.S.

Both types of babies are U.S. citizens. Both types of babies 'anchor' the family. One is for that specif purpose and none other. That type is 100% anchor baby. I really hope you can see the difference now.

The last figure I heard for Parkland Hospital in Dallas was 40,000 anchor babies delivered per year. I've never seen any stats that break-out how many are born in hospitals or delivered by midwives.

The 'anchor baby' industry is primarily on the border. What I observed, while living there, was the Mexican women cross the border to have the baby, delivered by a midwife, and then return to Mexico with the little U.S. citizen.

Mexican women, normally, don't travel from Mexico to Dallas to have anchor babies. It's cheaper to buy signatures or counterfeit papers.

The 'anchor babies' born in Dallas are born to Illegals that live in Dallas. Mom just happened to live in Dallas when the baby was born. Normally, pregnant Mexican women don't travel all the way to Dallas just to have a baby there.

The illegal immigration problem is not new. In 1954, President Eisenhower launched Operation Wetback in response to increasing illegal immigration.

I lived on the Mexican border for several years and witnessed the problems first hand.

The vast majority of 'anchor babies' born in the U.S. are born in midwife homes, not hospitals. It's a major cottage business on the border. A more efficient system, that is commonly used, is the babies are actually born in Mexico. Then paperwork is created falsifying that the birth was in the U.S. Counterfeit papers is another major cottage industry along the border.

Sucker is big. I couldn’t find one like that smaller and as of yet, I haven’t figured how to limit the size using html code on FR.

I shouldn’t post stuff like that late in the evening. People won’t be able to sleep.

Sarah Palin would inflame the libs like nothing imaginable. When McCain announced that she had been selected, I knew libs that stopped everything to campaign against her. McCain bothered them. Palin terrified them.

Palin cleaned out the Alaskan Government. The RINOs are afraid she will do something similar in D.C.

What problem?? If we need more money, we’ll just print it. We’ve got plenty of paper and ink.

Someone needs to develop a computer program that let’s us print our money as we need it. You know, like the stamps.com web site that prints the stamps on your computer printer. We could just log into the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing web site [moneyfactory.gov] and print what we need on our own printers.
