the querelle on spike lee’s movie is caused from the a.m.p.i. the national association of partisans...
in the movie there is a partisan traitor, that he cause the nazi repression on the town of s’anna of stazzema... and also spike lee says that “the partisans didn’t worried about civilians fate...after their attacks against nazi troops...”
...
now, the partisans (the fighters against the nazis and the republican fascists after the 1943) were of all political tendencies (monarchics, communists, Christian democratics etc.) but in post war, the association (the ampi) was ruled by communists that impose THEIR version of history... (for example, the italian red terrorism of years ‘60/80 was seen as a successor of partisan war).
in this fake version of history the partisans are all angels, all brave, all good...
same facts as the red partisan that killing partisans of other political party , or the assassinations of innocents,the sexual violence on women, the pillage of privates property and other, are censored.
when spike lee say only the truth , the ampi crying at the moon.
blasphemy!! it isn’t the truth! the truth is our truth!
curiosly, spike lee , when he insults the italians of america, was the pupil of italian communist, now he is become only a amerikano (an espression meaning a imperialistic yankee...)
for this reason, the conservative italians are happy of this querelle...
