LOL dogs will bring Pasteurella multocida and lots of other stuff. Maybe let them hang out in the bone marrow transplant ICU and mingle with bubble people.

Then go to the OR and greet everyone in the total joint room.

    Sounds like a plan.

After all, it's your FEELINGs that matter.

This is what happens when you let administrative positions increase by 1000 percent and let MBAs and liberals run medicine.

What if you were of the same mental constitution as the Uvalde shooter?

Are you positive that you would not be influenced to kill by these games?

Is it mere coincidence that the killer dressed up EXACTLY like the characters in the first person shooter games?

If these games are so irrelevant to making persons more or less likely to shoot, why then do LEOs use the same kind of computer simulation games to train officers to discern bad guys from good guys in quick decision shooter software?

Can you say for sure that this person was absolutely not more likely to do what he/she/it did, after having spent a thousand hours playing games such as these?

Don't people get "better" at these games after playing them, in other words, don't they get more accurate and deadly in shooting, and quicker on the draw? So don't the games make one more inclined to kill effectively? Is not that the point of the game?

'Where it ends' is in the jurors' deliberation room after a trial. If they believe you are right, the video game wanker programmers and those who finance this garbage walk away laughing. I am OK with that, provided there was a fair trial.

If on the other hand the jurors believe I am right, that the games influence weak-minded degenerates to be uninhibited and actually kill, then the video game wankers should cough up a lot of money (which they have in abundance) to the victims' families.

Then maybe they stop programming their evil garbage and lead productive lives for a change. Or maybe they don't, they keep doing what they are doing.

But degenerates should not be allowed to hide behind the First Amendment, which was designed for good, not for lies, pornography, and incitement to murder. Software used for self defense or LEO training may be similar but it certainly is not intended to satisfy gamer blood lust or disinhibit murderous scum like the Uvalde shooter. Gamer software is.

We as a society have the right to set the bar where we like. Do we want to be like the Pilgrim fathers who would put people in stocks, or whip them, for swearing? No.

But now we have gone so far to the other side, and let the bar be so low, that we live in sewers instead of cities. We can't let our kids play outside or walk home from school for fear of them being abducted, perved on, and killed. We can't get married because the odds of divorce are 50-90 percent, depending on various factors. The odds of being aborted if you are conceived today, are 50-50.

These are serious points of degeneration that have occurred in the past 65 years that make life horrible for most decent people.

So yes, we should challenge people to start raising the bar.

Our society is a stinking, steaming pile. And it was not like this in previous generations.

The reason we are seeing events like the pro-Pali demonstrations are because for 80 years there has never been any serious punishment for leftist misbehavior.

The day that stops, the country will start to seriously improve.

In this case, these 15 students will suffer no significant punishment or even inconvenience. They will for cosmetic reasons not get their sheepskins, but soon after, secretly, they will, with congratulations from their alma mater.

I don't have any problems about suing manufacturers of video games that glorify repeated first-person shooter activities, and allow them to be repeated a thousand times per hour.

For the type of moron who would buy and use this kind of software, this would be nothing but irresistable conditioning to murder without hesitation.

The First Amendment has huge utility and is even sacred when it comes to preserving a free press, free exchange of scientific information and literary art, and lots of other stuff.

But when it comes to porn and other dehumanizing, evil stuff like these video games, people should have the right to take it to court.

Our present society is the sewer it is because ignorant people refuse to draw a line, any line, between normal activity and degenerate evil practices.

It is time we take stock and realize that it is OK to draw a line somewhere.

Hi MM. Thanks for the reply. I have a brother- and sister-in-law who live in SC and I give them grief about Linda all the time.

They say it is because of the crossover primaries they have. Rats cross over in the GOP primary and vote for Linda because he is a closeted (tee hee) Rat in reality. Which he appears to be.

NOW, he is getting the vapors and may faint unless Mrs. Samuel Alito apologizes for hanging up an inverted "An Appeal to Heaven" tree flag which is what many of the colonists in MA flew (right-side-up, that is). It is a beautiful flag and a beautiful sentiment, one which is as fitting today as in 1775.

Indeed, Linda is a disgrace. We will KNOW that our cause is ascendant when persons like Linda can't get elected anymore. And that time IS coming.

When I was a kid NO ONE would comment saying "It's bad judgement to speak out about that..." and now it is commonplace.

Lindsay Graham obviously has no concept of what the United States is.

He should not be a senator. Maybe he should be a citizen of another country with a monarchy. I am serious.

dt45, Yes the part of the brain affected by me was the same: apparently your hippocampus, etc, makes a briefly stored movie about what you JUST did, like turn off the stove, lock the door to the garage, etc., and that is affected (for me not permanently) by COVID.

So I would be optimistic that your memory of that time will continue to improve.

Yes what you describe is what I had. And it made life hard.

For me it returned 100 %.

    Keep your chin up.

Sorry you are still so badly affected by it. I am 4 years out now.

Basically I had to learn to read again, because I would forget what I was reading by the time I got to the bottom of the page. Perivascular microhemorrhages in the brain.

I work in ICU care and many people with severe viral infections will have some degree of meningoencephalitis (just means inflammation of brain and meninges).

Likewise people who are ill with bacterial sepsis may get a similar clinical picture.

The syndrome is so common that it is called SABD (sepsis induced brain dysfunction) or SAE (sepsis induced encephalopathy). Most family members of patients who are seriously ill in the ICU know that people often don't come out of the ICU the way they went in, and it can be permanent.

The fact that this virus was remanufactured to make it more contagious and deadly is a huge injustice which must be addressed.

The reason why many think it is bogus is because many people have no such brain involvement. Many have no involvement of heart or lungs, but some get sick enough to die.

As you might expect, most people recover, but many do not. So your story rings true to me. I feel sorry for you but don't get discouraged because the healing occurs over years. I am almost 100 percent now; hope you will be too soon.

Long Covid has been VERY well documented as a distinct clinical entity, marked especially by its causing perivascular bleeding in the brain, which showed up clearly in MRIs in the acute phase.

A TREMENDOUS LOT of people got this from Covid-19.

The ACE-2 receptor protein is expressed (i.e., present) in the lung, of course --that is how and why the altered virus was constructed by Chinese and American researchers to make it bind with great avidity to ACE-2 receptors in the lung, thereby making it a much more contagious and potent bioweapon.

Well, it turns out that the ACE-2 receptors are expressed in other tissues in the body, including the brain.

See this reference for more information: Xu J, Lazartigues E. Expression of ACE2 in Human Neurons Supports the Neuro-Invasive Potential of COVID-19 Virus. Cell Mol Neurobiol. 2022 Jan;42(1):305-309. doi: 10.1007/s10571-020-00915-1. Epub 2020 Jul 4. PMID: 32623546; PMCID: PMC7334623.

See also: Xu J, Sriramula S, Xia H, Moreno-Walton L, Culicchia F, Domenig O, Poglitsch M, Lazartigues E. Clinical relevance and role of neuronal AT1 receptors in ADAM17-mediated ACE2 shedding in neurogenic hypertension. Circ Res. 2017;121(1):43–55. doi: 10.1161/CIRCRESAHA.116.310509.

For a better overall source, see this informative, open-access, review of the whole global issue of what COVID-19 virus does to the brain and associated systems. This is in a very well known journal, Annals of Neurology: Koralnik IJ, Tyler KL. COVID-19: A Global Threat to the Nervous System. Ann Neurol. 2020 Jul;88(1):1-11. doi: 10.1002/ana.25807. PMID: 32506549; PMCID: PMC7300753.

Having read many of Ann Coulter's articles in the past (not so much these days) I know she is generally well-enough educated to understand that, indeed, COVID-19 invades the brain and causes myriad symptoms and often permanent disabilities.

She knows better than to say that there is no such thing as Long Covid on a podcast.

The only sensible conclusion is that she is on the take, or a part of the Internationale, i.e., the quasi-organized, massive fraction of the population worldwide who subscribe to communism and Marxism in all of its forms and manifestations: Cloward-Piven, CCP attacks on the US, infiltration of Academe, the Deep State, the Catholic Church, AND of course the disinformation-denial THAT THE COVID-19 virus and vaccine were engineered and deployed bioweapons by the CCP and Chinese Army.

I think the trick going forward is NOT to focus on the motivation of people like Ann Coulter (just as a one-person example) and INSTEAD, just grasp and internalize that it is all a part of the whole communist effort.

The more they chase us normals down blind alleys trying to understand their screwy motivations and schemes, the more we are blinded to the overall collectivist plot.

To remove the hoodwink, or to be 'red-pilled,' then just accept the lie and generalize, and don't get absorbed into their various silly schemes. Lump them all together as communism. It is an important way to neutralize their many psyops.

Agree with the poster here that VDH does need to move from "Oh things are awful..." to constructive reform.

    We all do.

First, the professors set the bar. No one but.

So, it's like Boomers griping about younger generations: Who was it who parented them? Who failed to challenge the students? Who created 'studies' departments? Look in the mirror VDH, and all the kolleje kommies. It was the faculties who made universities into clown shows. Not the students.

Fixes for colleges: Harder core curricula, expel people who can't do the work. Even at state schools, students were allowed to drift in and out as if it was their right to attend. It should not be. Every lazy, troublemaking 'studies' student makes it harder for serious ones to get through.

So colleges everywhere need to stop giving away degrees and tighten up the college experience.

    Agree.

Currently reading Churchill's account of WW2.

He strengthened both the will of the British, the hardware needs of its military, and that was an extraordinary task which he accomplished in the nick of time, just as the Battle of Britain began.

Had he not done so, and had Britain been forced into a truce (or worse) by Germany after the fall of France, then it is quite possible Hitler's planned conquest of Britain would have been successful.

Churchill's persistence, organizational genius, and huge geopolitical and historical brainpower made him the savior of Europe. Largely this was his ability to anticipate enemies' moves long before they acted. (Was this quality of his the result of the hard lessons of Gallipoli?)

Fortunately, Hitler was too euphoric from his early prodigious sucesses, and he foolishly attempted to conquer Russia while still maintaining his western front. It obviously was too much, too fast.We were actually lucky that Churchill had the supreme judgment to anticipate exactly what Hitler would do, and scare enough Britons into doubletime preparing for the Island's defense.

Indeed we are all lucky that he did what he did.

Churchill certainly failed with Gallipoli, but he more than made up for it by saving Europe, with our help of course.

Sorry for the length and the Captain Obviousness of the above, but people now just assume that victory in WW2 was a foregone conclusion.

When I was a teenager my dad, who was born in 1920, lived in DC and served in the Navy during WW2, said that initially, lots of young men in his neighborhood were killed at the start of the war, and there was grave concern about Germany and Japan being victorious.

We certainly need to re-cultivate that pre-and-early-war Churchillian mindset now, even though the war we are currently engaged in is like the slow onset of WW2: The Phony War of 1939-40 very much resembles the current 'pre-kinetic' phase of our war with the Internationale which we now are involved in --and hopefully are awakening to.

This is no surprise that Mayo is commie. Doctors everywhere are usually conservative, due to the reality therapy they receive every day in their jobs. But they are cowardly, and shouted down by the numerous communists among them.

Plus, it is NO accident that there has been a 1000 % increase in administrators since Obamacare started. Their duties including planning and executing this very kind of mischief.

You see, with Obamacare, the whole idea was to turn medicine into an effective communist agency, which it now is.

Notice how elegantly and efficiently the Covid altered-virus bioweapon and the lethal 'vaccine' were deployed by our health care system. But also notice the propaganda arm. They are good enough to squelch a respected doctor who simply states the fact that there are two and only two sexes. Really amazing that is.
