This is a very opportune time to remove the dead wood within the White House Press room -

Hello, my name is ------. In my new position as the White House Press Secretary representing our elected Republican President, President George Bush, there will be a number of policy changes as to how we conduct ourselves within this room. You will notice differences immediately as to what you have known from past press secretaries and the way I will conduct myself. Not only will there be policy changes but, I intend to bring 'journalism' back into your practice. The policy changes will be as follows:

    1. All inquiries will be addressed with respect to myself and the office of the President of The United States of America.

    2. All inquires towards President George Bush will be stated as "President George Bush. Not George. Not the President. Not Bush.

    3. All questions directed to myself or President George Bush will not be worthy of a dignified answer if the question, as determined by myself, is presented with a false premise. The question will be ignored and I will move to the next question.

    4. All behavior within this press room will be dignified and respectfull of each other.

    5. All white house press corp reporters will be placed on notice for violation of any of these new policies.

    6. Any violation of these policies by a member of the White House Press Corp member will immediately be reassigned to the rear of this room. A second violation will be reassigned to the other side of the door. Only those showing respect for this office will be allowed inside this room and the privilege to ask questions of myself in this greatest nation on earth.

    7. I will allow only one (1) question per reporter with one (1) followup question. Bundled or multiple questions will be disallowed and dismissed and I will move without hesitation to the next reporters' question.

    9. I'm confident we will be able to work well together and those that don't or can't may eventually see their white house press corps pass revoked and, be removed from your position.

    9. These new policies take effect immediately and with that, may I have the first question . . .

Sounds like an 'intervention' episode with your daughter-in-laws' brother.

Nothing like a swift kick in the ass to bring some of these emotion-based libs out of their wandering wilderness.

    Good job!

    Strong read.

Great summation of liberal local and state meltdown failures before and after Hurricane Katrina.

Must read for every squishy moderate and others that vote 'democrat' as to the distinct ideological difference between liberalism and conservativism. The emotion of liberalism meets the real world.

    Just damn.

  • Colorado Senator Salazar Calls Focus on the Family "The Anti-Christ"

'Easy now. Not all of us voted for him.'

Agreed. Salazar played smart politics by being 'moderate' and has his entire career. He campaigned as a Catholic good-'ol-boy with his c'boy hat, driving his pick-up truck to every county in Colorado and duped republicans with promises in thinking he was for them too. He picked up their votes and won the Senate election.

Once again, we lost a valuable senate seat from a democrat campaigning 'moderate' and legislating 'left'.

We've got freepers here in Colorado that voted for Salazar (D) simply because they didn't like Coors (R) or Shaffer (R). Connect the dots. When one votes for a democrat, you get democrat ideology AND anti-conservative agenda roadblocks. Duh, pretty simple. Wow, people are STUNNED Salazar broke his promise to give an up-or-down vote on judicial nominees. Geez.

  • GOP Sen. Voinovich Opposes Bolton Nomination

    Bolton committee report: Today.

Majority Chairman, Sen. Lugar tried and tried and tried to get Bolton voted out (i.e. in support) of committee and onto the floor of the senate but, dems with sKerry, Biden, Sarbanes, Boxer, Dodd and others kept interrupting and bloviating Lugar with tall tells of Bolton's behavior with subordinates. All heresay with no evidence presented. Lugar so much told the dem's they were stalling and his mind was made up. Lugar would say, "It's time to vote 'yea' or 'nay'". Lugar tried to get them (democrats) to vote but, each time the dems would bloviate some more. Then, Sen. Voinovich (R) buckled. Voinovich said he's 'not comfortable' with the issues raised by the dems that perhaps what they are saying may need to be looked into. That's when the dam burst. The dems knew (once again) they had won the day and gotten into the minds of the wafflers. Lugar had no choice - Bolton may not get the 10 votes and out of committee.

Once again, libs are masters at stall tactics, delay, delay delay. Just given enough time, they can get a repub. to cave. No more no less.

The democrats will spend the next 2 weeks digging and digging dirt on Bolton and present an 'Anita Hill' defense.

That's who they are and what they do. It's 'Get Bush' at all cost.

'Kennedy said Carpio had an extensive record both in Rhode Island and out of state for narcotics and assault charges.'

    And there's the rub.

There is a point when we as a society need to focus onto the 'repeat offender' syndrom that liberals have perpetuated and placed into motion such as 'rehabilatation programs', 'parole', 'out-on-bond', 'early release', etc., etc. that is now part of everyday life rather than punishment for 'crimes against humanity'.

Tackle this issue, defeat the liberal (killing) machine that allows crime to occur. Conservatives/republicans can do better at pointing out what voting 'liberal' will get you in society.

'Among American adults, about two-thirds are overweight or obese; nearly one-third qualify as obese.'

Hmmm . . . didn't several years ago here in good 'ol USA, social engineering liberals and the NIH (National Institute of Health) reconfigure what qualifies Americans as 'overweight' and 'obese'? (NIH ratching the weight limits upward to include more americans as 'overweight' and 'obese'.)

Why, yes they did. Uh oh - that makes the 7-European countries percentages actually worse now doesn't it?

Bad move. I'm very disappointed with Fox News if this becomes true.

For decades, the MSM has had their way with Conservatives 'on air', usually a 3:1, or 2:1 ratio favoring liberals.

Here we go again with Hannity, Colmes and now McAwful, do the math. I won't be watching.

The power of Zell continues to reverberate through the democrat party and those that vote (D).

No wonder democrat party leaders and the media threw everything including the kitchen sink in the attempt to discredit Zell Miller after his firebrand speech at the Republican National Convention . . . they knew, and were very afraid people would look deep into the ills of liberalism and all it's failings and come away with only one realization. Zell was right!
