When I was deployed Mogadishu we were forced to fill sandbags to fortify areas around our tents. We found those things all the time!

I was there for it and was a helicopter pilot. I’ve always thought as that deployment being my Vietnam. We showed up with kindness in our hearts hoping to be able to actually help these people but by the time we left that was not the case. Tribal communities will do a tribal communities do.

Anyone who has been to the altitude chamber and has experienced rapid decompression would know that you are 100% correct. The difference between the time of useful consciousness at 16,000 versus 40,000 is unbelievable.
The one thing that I have always said is that every airline pilot should be required to go through the alt chamber to experience that. Only us military pilots typically have been through any of that training. It is hugely important (says the 747 CPT).

My last border crossing from Shenzhen to Hong Kong took five hours. It was during Covid. I thought that was going to be a riot because there were no bathrooms on the Chinese side and the people were furious. My female first officer had to go P about four hours into it and I told her there’s no way we’re stepping out of line to go outside of the building to use the bathroom. It was unreal.

But not likely because I’m ANC based and most of my trips head west over the Pacific.

Crews, not cruise!

So the previous flight crew can be held accountable for statements/conversations had. I fly an aircraft that has about a 16.5 hour range, I have an incident and suddenly the previous cruise is being looked at because of the statements they made with the voice recorder? Unreal.

Good! No repeat offenders!

I have literally made a warning shot with my .50 cal in the air and it had zero effect here in Alaska. I truly believe the bear had no idea what I was and zero experience with humans. I had to charge him to drive him off.

“Enough is enough. When will anyone act to stop these assault vehicles?”

And it is a high capacity vehicle! Who needs a vehicle that carry more than four people!

Yet here we are, most people driving, are aware of the laws and do not use their vehicles to hurt people. Isn’t it a strange coincidence? Let’s use their thought process for everything. We can start out with a spoon issue, and the reason people are fat.…

It does have a Chinese registration. Registered to a charter company. I think it might be the jet they just held for him and his crew. Absolutely no other reason to have that name on a golf stream jet sitting on a ramp in China. So yeah, he was collecting a lot of cash from the Chinese but there was a lot of free stuff he was getting as well

I fly for a living, one of our stops is a Shenzhen China. When we would go from the jet to customs, we would pass an area of business jets. Within those jets there was a Gulfstream 650 that had the name HUNTER written across the top of the fuselage on the side. It has a Chinese registration, but why would it have that name across the top? And you wonder how we could possibly have a Chinese police station that was not shut down for so long within our borders. I have pictures of that jet, wish I knew how to put them on here.

This town is literally right out the gate of Fort Rucker, Army flight school. I know it well, it was an army pilot, and we will go out the Gate for lunch and that was the quickest place to grab it. Literally immediately after leaving the gate.

I literally remember seeing that post, but I could not convince somebody to believe that I was a conservative.
I don’t care about my previous post remaining. I would just like to change my username to what I initially had. Literally I had been lurking here for a couple of months when I first came on about 10 years ago or so. My buddy that I flew with who passed a few years ago recommended I check it out. Anyway, my first post, literally my first post I was banned! It was because I had written something which was nothing but the truth about Sarah Palin. I live here in Alaska, and was just showing what she had done in terms of legislation it showed that she truly was not this wonderful, conservative that everybody believed she is. We literally double the size of our government under her. It was when the Oil prices went way up. She said that Alaskans deserved our fair share and jacked up taxes against the oil companies here. Of course, they laid off people stopped exploration, and we had at that time the lowest price of the pump in the nation. After her legislation, we went to the highest. So that’s the backstory…
I wrote as many things as I could to someone to demonstrate that I was not some closet liberal on here posting things, and nobody would listen. If you look back at any of my posts since I changed my username, you’ll see that I’m a hard-core conservative. I couldn’t even change my username on my previous devices because it recognized me as who I was and kept preventing me from posting. I literally had to wait until I got a new iPad and get a new iPhone to be able to establish the New username. While I waited for three years or so, ready to pounce I lurked of course. My previous user name was Skytrash!

How do I get a hold of them?
