Police obtained CCTV footage on Monday from officials at Mile High Stadium in Denver to look for clues into the ongoing investigation of a man who vanished during halftime at the Broncos-Chargers game last Thursday. Because of patient privacy laws, they can't obtain confirmation whether the man has been admitted to the hospital. Bakke said she continues to call stadium officials. "And they keep telling us that there's nothing they can do for us," she said.

The defense also called former Massachusetts governor and 1988 Democratic presidential nominee Michael Dukakis to testify for Phillipos. Dukakis, an old family friend of Phillipos' mother, described a phone conversation he had with Phillipos five days after the bombings. Dukakis said Phillipos told him he had been questioned by the FBI for five hours, but was so confused he didn't remember what he said.

A patient who was transported to Emory University Hospital on Sept. 9 with Ebola virus disease was discharged from the hospital on Oct. 19, 2014. In coordination with the CDC and Georgia Department of Public Health, the patient was determined to be free of virus and to pose no public health threat. The patient has asked to remain anonymous and left the hospital for an undisclosed location. He will make a statement at a later date.

Amarillo TX- A patient showing Ebola like symptoms is currently in isolation at Baptist Saint Anthony's Hospital. The patient went to BSA Hospital at around 4:00 PM today. While he was there, he went through screening and the patient says he had been in contact with someone who had recently traveled to Africa. A healthcare worker is also in isolation.

On the day that Duncan was admitted to the hospital with possible Ebola symptoms, he was "left for several hours, not in isolation, in an area where other patients were present," ... After expressing concerns that their necks were exposed even as they wore protective gear, the nurses were told to wrap their necks with medical tape, the union says... "There was no one to pick up hazardous waste as it piled to the ceiling," Burger said.

A World Health Organization official says there could be up to 10,000 new cases of Ebola per week within two months.

District Judge Bob Downing issued the injunction Monday afternoon after state Attorney General Buddy Caldwell requested a temporary order to keep the incinerated items out of Louisiana. In a statement late Sunday, Caldwell cited reports that “six truckloads” of items from the Texas apartment where Thomas Eric Duncan was staying were set to be dumped at a Louisiana landfill after being burned at a Veolia Environmental Services plant in Port Arthur, Texas. Duncan fell ill with Ebola in Texas and died Wednesday.

Thousands of Liberian healthcare workers are set to begin an indefinite strike at midnight on Monday which could undermine the country's effort to stop the spread of the deadly Ebola virus and leave several hundred patients without care. Health workers in the West African nation threatened to abandon hundreds of patients in Ebola treatment units, clinics and hospitals if demands for better incentives, working conditions and protective equipment were not met.

West Africa produces nearly three-quarters of the world's cocoa -- with the nations of Ivory Coast and Ghana responsible for 60 percent of that supply. And while Ebola has not yet appeared in those two nations, their proximity to Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone -- the current epicenters of the Ebola outbreak -- have led to concerns that any continued spread of the disease could also cause a major disruption in cocoa production, and another spike in world cocoa prices.

A Harlem man showing Ebola-like symptoms was taken to Bellevue Hospital on Wednesday, sources told The Post. The 31-year-old, who had recently visited Nigeria, was later cleared by doctors after a battery of tests, sources said.

While Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan remains in critical condition, Civil Rights Activist Rev. Jesse Jackson has arrived in Texas to address the virus scare and "seek the best humanitarian relief." Jackson, whose plane landed around 8:45 a.m., is expected to meet with pastors and community leaders in Oak Cliff at 11 a.m. In the afternoon he will meet with Duncan's doctors and then his family members.

When asked on Sunday if the United States should suspend flights to and from affected countries or impose a visa ban on travelers from those countries, Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said "absolutely not." "When you start closing off countries like that, there is a real danger of making things worse," Fauci said on "Fox News Sunday." "You can cause unrest in the country," he said. "It’s conceivable that governments could fall if you just isolate them completely."
