Thanks all the same, but it's over for Toronto. It will sink further and further into a multi-cultural third world cesspool. Like Rumsfeld said about old Europe and new Europe, there is now an old Canada and a new Canada, with new Canada starting at the prairies.
Until we voted in the Conservatives up here in January, we we're starting to resemble something a little too much like Franch, especially when it comes to government sector. Not sure about the States, but both our countries should be using France as a bad example and do the opposite. Crap country France is.
I hope President Bush and other Americans understand that amongst us Canadian conservatives, the feeling of genuinely caring about him and his country is very much mutual. I can't speak for our leftist element up here, and would rather just ignore them, however.
I read in the Toronto Sun quite awhile ago that about 1200 troops were securing a key airbare somewhere in the U.A.E. that American aircraft were flying out of, involved in the bombing of Iraq, surely this constitutes direct involvement? Oh wait, but Jean Chretien said we weren't going to war, my arse we weren't.
If Canada had any sort of balls, we would have sent in some of our own special forces, JTF2 or something and got these guys out. Instead we have to rely on the Brits and the Americans.
