I'm sick of immature non-critical thinkers, it is ruining this country.

    Amen.

And for the record, I never voted for Obama, and never will.

I worked harder in party politics in 2007 and 2008 than I have ever worked, within the GOP, at a time when I had precious time to waste doing it, and the Republican Party said, in a loud, clear voice, "We don't tolerate representative democracy, and we would rather DIE than be different in any substantive way from the Democratic Party!" What's a person supposed to do when a party wants to commit suicide so badly? I have babies to raise, and a family to provide for, and freedom to fight for - I don't have any more time for the rotten Republican Party and their meaningless games. I look forward to their political death - it can't happen fast enough, because they are at least half the problem.

People who think like you is why Obama is now President...

Please think that through (really), and explain to me how that statement can possibly be true.

God bless y’all, and keep on keeping on! I estimate we are about 20% of the population now, but no matter who wins the Presidency tomorrow, our numbers will continue to grow. One day the weak who are groveling at the feet of the GOP leadership today, will be following us, and we will have the majority, and we have a chance to take our country back for our children and grandchildren. Aside from a great show of mercy from God, we may end up in a civil war, but some of those who hate us now will fight with us. I only hope we can grow our numbers and get enough people to think before it becomes another Spanish Civil War, with the majority fighting for either the Fascists or the Communists. At least here we have more of a history of freedom, and a larger percentage of the population with an inherent love for liberty. Deo vindice!

Well, I must say - voting for the Constitution and limited government is like voting against the insect world. But I still think we are at least 20% (and I think a higher percentage than that where I live, when the SHTF), so, we have a fighting chance, when the fighting starts.

It's okay - you like Big Government; you like paying for propaganda and abortions and unjust wars; you don't mind being lied to over and over and over and over. Most people on this site these days are just like you. And so are the people in East Saint Louis, by the way. But when the SHTF, none of that will matter.

    Take care....

I learned my lesson the hard way when I voted for Perot in 1992...

I KNEW it! What was there to vote for in Perot???? The guy talked in circles, and said nothing, but did make it plain he did not believe in limited government, and didn't care about the Law of the Land.

You have a history of putting your faith in fools.

If your idea of being "narrow-mindedly moralistic" is hating socialism as state-worship, getting sick and tired of the herd being manipulated year after year to not resist the evil, and being totally freaking fed up with having my money taken from me against my will to be used for all manner of evil, including public ads which belittle my own worldview, and that of my forefathers, including government indoctrination camps where innocent children are literally brainwashed into all manner of lies, and including the butcher of the unborn (with MY money), and people calling themselves conservatives, who have a godless, Woodrow Wilson foreign policy and loudly claim to be pro-life through one side of their mouth, while telling everyone to keep voting for the Culture of Death and to pay their taxes out of the other side of their mouth, then yeah - I'm narrow-minded. And I'm trying to wake up more people to be narrow minded, too.

Now, self-righteous is a Christian term, which means that a person thinks righteousness originates from himself, instead of from the God who made all things. It has been adapted in the post-Christian world we live in to be an emotionally charged (and therefore reason-suppressing) word to describe anyone who cares too much about evil, or won't compromise with evil.

    You’re a Ron Paul supporter aren’t you?

Pretty much. Pretty much have always liked him, though he's not the best communicator. I didn't vote for him in 88, though, which was my first year to vote, because I thought I should vote for Bush, in case the state I lived in then went for Dukakis by one vote. I was young and stupid.

I do realize I'm pitching you a softball with that last remark. Feel free - hit it outta here!

Uhhhhh, Jim’s not the gubmint, and this is his forum. Thus, he has the right to do anything he wants with his own rules.

Oh, I totally agree. It's just the same phenomenon, that's all, and it's fascinating. Our present government does it, too, in a little subtler way.

I’ll leave it to you to explain to God why you allowed babies to die while you’re trying to take back you country.

You might want to start worrying about your own face time with God. What candidates have you been enthusiastically supporting now, for several years? What policies? What ignorance are you content to live with? How much money have you willingly given to this illegitimate government, to fund abortions and to otherwise kill other innocent lives?

    self-righteousness

Your post only shows how bats**** extremist loony NARAL is - it doesn't say anything about McCain's record on abortion. If we concede that there is no real battle against abortion, how will we fight abortion, politically? The GOP loves the issue, in order to get money and votes for essentially pro-abortion and completely pro-abortion candidates, but they have had complete control of the Federal Government for several years now, and in that time, the amount of money that was taken at gunpoint from you and I and given to the abortion butchers for their trade has increased exponentially, while abortion has not even been phased. As long as we tolerate that, and even demand candidates that promise to continue the funding, no ground will be made against abortion.

So, look up the definition of self-righteous, and tell me what I have said that betrays self-righteousness. It's another emotion-filled word that you are using nonsensically.

    Jim,

Have you ever read 1984? If so, do remember a thing in there called the "2 minutes hate?" This thread so much reminds me of it, with the exception that there are a few dissenters, which was unthinkable in the 2-minutes hate.

You're welcome for playing the part of Goldstien.

    Man, George Orwell was prescient.

I hope there are not too many Americans that are as dumb as you.

I would like to think so, too, but I must say after seeing the reaction on this forum to this article, and seeing that nearly 90% of voters plan to vote for either Obama or Obama in Republican's clothing, I'm afraid most Amricans are AT LEAST as dumb as I am. It's bleak, I know.

Had the GOP abided by working within in the Constitution and actually upholding it since taking over congress in 1994 Obama even if elected would not have never been a serious threat nor would anyone else.

It's incredible. You can reason all you want - these people are pure emotion, pick up on two or three disconnected words, and go off like a rocket.

The government schools, Hollywood, the MSM and our churches have done this to us. It's frustrating, and it's scary, but I estimate that we are at least 20% of the population, my friend, and we will at least be a resistance to reckon with, and I suspect we will prevail completely in getting our nation back, one way or another.

"McCAIN: I thought it (Roe v. Wade) was a bad decision. I think that decision should rest in the hands of the states. I'm a federalist. And I believe strongly that we should have nominees to the Supreme Court based on their qualifications rather than any litmus test. They should be judged on their qualifications. I will find the best people in America who have a history of strict adherence to the Constitution. And not legislating from the bench." So what's wrong with that answer?

I never said anything was wrong with that answer. But what is wrong with it, now that you bring it up, is that his record proves otherwise, and with the people with whom he surrounds himself, you can be sure he would continue to do otherwise.

Put your hope in the race horse if you must - some of the rest of us are going to start taking our country back.

You may have to if Obama wins. I'll hold you to that.

I won't be counting on you, in the meantime.
