I wonder sometimes do they all go home and think about how long can this charade go on...smh for all their complacency.

I just found this passage of scripture.

Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. (Matthew 27:50-53)

It seems the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus, our Lord and Saviour has put something further into action regarding the things we discussed, and perhaps even more things then that which were etched in stone already being discussed here. Just sayin...

It’s me again. Something came up in my mind today. It’s just that over so many years I have always heard about my dear departed loved ones being in heaven with the Lord from others who knew I was grieving from their absence here. Now it’s just me left in the immediate family, and I’m always being told not to worry, everyone is watching over me now.

But the thought I had today was that one of the men on the cross beside Christ Jesus asked to remember him when He comes into His kingdom. Christ Jesus told the man something about, today you will be with Me in paradise.

How is it that we are asleep and know nothing, and then be in paradise too? It just seems to lead back to our bodies go back to the dust, and yet there is still something left inside of us that goes on to be with the Lord.

I understand your previous explanation and it does make sense. The breath of life from Almighty God returned to Him in that passage of scripture I gave before.

I understand also, I think it was Paul that said, he or we, would rather be absent from the body and be present with the Lord, which could mean, we would prefer that, but maybe that’s not the way it works out if we are all just sleeping till resurrection day after we die.

But that other man at the crucifixion got to go to paradise that same day he died with Christ Jesus.

Then there was I think, Abraham, Lazurus, and some wicked/rich king who had all died, and there was a gulf between them. That was before Christs death and resurrection. Then Christ went down and set the captives free. Graves opened up that day too I think I read.

So... it seems there is still something of us still existing even after our flesh bodies go back to the dust after death.

I’m not trying open up a can of worms here, or be controversial. I just like to be sure of what I hear and what I speak in my journey here.

Oh, I thought it meant “our spirit” which I also thought was the intellect of our soul.

I know I have read some passages of scriptures that mention the dead sleep, or the dead know nothing. But then I seen that one chapter talking about death, and I was conflicted.

That’s what I like about lurking. I can pick up things here and there and put it together... sometimes ... smiles.

I would like one day to find a discussion on being foreknown, or predestination.

Like that one passage that says: Jacob I loved, Esau I hated. I don’t think they were even born yet if I remember it correctly. I was wondering was that about being foreknown, like God already knew that Esau would trade his birthright for a bowl of red beans.

I usually lurk in the shadows, and yea, I read over 400 posts on this thread. That end of your statement, “the belief the dead are alive in heaven as a spirit”. Is that something you don’t believe? There is a passage of scripture that mentions it. It is found in Ecclesiastes 12:6-7.

Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern. Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Are we even allowed to ask the question any longer without fear of persecution, or being shunned and stunned?

So much vile, vicious, and vindictive things are being said and done against another group of individuals all over the world every day, yet there is no outrage for their suffering and persecution.

It is actually promoted, financed, and propagated throughout all of media, government, and educational institutions.

It is, and will be at a point, where you will not even be able to participate any longer in this system we have come to know, because you don’t think or speak as they do.

Denial of Service is the future for those who don’t want to be a willing participant in the beastly system that lies ahead, and is to come.

Prepare yourselves to protect and sustain you and yours till the great revealing comes to pass. A day of reckoning will come, and they will reap what they have sown.

Awhile back I brought up the issue about “apostasia” (sp?), and how I thought it meant the falling away from faith.

But some other peeps here said no, it meant the catching up in the air as mentioned later in that chapter “harpazo” (sp?).

I kindly thanked them for the insight, but later on, it just didn’t set well with me. I have been meaning to come back and clarify it again.

I always thought 6th trumpet satan, and 7th trumpet Christ Jesus.

I thought I read too about how the days would be shortened for even the elect wouldn’t be able to survive. I guess that’s why it makes sense to me that there is no catching up in the air until that son of perdition, the man of sin is revealed, and the falling away would be how they start to lose their faith.

Either way, I’m just thankful to be included whichever way it plays out. I just say, hang on, He’s got this ... smiles

Time magazine even portrayed Obama on the front cover as “god of all things”. He looked like the Hindu god, “Shiva the Destroyer” ... well, he is still trying to destroy everything that is sacred and holy ... so there’s that.

You know, there was a show, movie, or miniseries on History Channel I think it was, and the peep who played satan looked exactly like Obama. That was really creepy back then, and I think he was even the President at the time.

Then there was something about him training or having his own personal army to fight against any opposition. I was like, alright now. You all are getting a little too bold and in our face.

Like you said early on, PRAY ... Our Lord will not forsake us. We are in His hand, and no one can snatch us from that hand either. Even His angels are standing with us.

So, these people doing and saying these things against the citizens of this nation are in for a rude awakening.

Our Lord is in charge, and He definitely don’t like His children being bullied around by a bunch of reprobates.

We know them by their fruits, and their fruits are rotten to the core. Be strong and hang on. He’s got this.

The writing has been on the wall for a very long time. We should really be prepared for what lies ahead.

I can’t help to think our Heavenly Father might have appointed this man to represent our nation, so to prepare His children for what is to come.

Preparing as in getting away to a self sustaining environment like a small plot of land away from the big cities, where we grow our own food, draw our own water, teach our own children, etc.

Everything they do, say, and touch is all corrupted. Even our food sources are being corrupted. They are a beast, with many, many heads, and who can make war with that beast?

I said long ago that America is the only nation standing in the way of the New World Order and the Great Reset they have in store for everyone. Christians most especially.

We must be able to hang on till the end. There is no place left to flee to. This is it.

I’m not a coward, but I’m not stupid either. I have never seen such open, blatant, and contemptuous persecution against the people of this great nation like I have seen as of late. This is different. They have already declared war against us, and they will stop at nothing to silence us all.

Please prepare yourselves. No matter what it takes to get to a safer place where you can survive and sustain you and all your love ones.

Even if you have to totally change your lifestyle, these worldly things mean nothing. Food, shelter, and water is all we need to survive till our true King comes.

Wow, I was just typing my post and submitted, and then now I see yours ... wow!

No justice for any of their wrongs will come until Judgement Day.

The global beast is running the show. Get out of this theater and start popping your own popcorn and making your own beverages.

Within 2 years, I will be out of my “freak state”. I have fled to the mountains, and many will be with me. We will rebuild to take care of our own. Food, water, and shelter is all we need, and those necessities will not come from this beast, that’s for sure.

Thank you. I didn’t realize in verse 6 and 7, that meant us and the Holy Spirit being removed.
6)”And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7)For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.”

Then when I got to verse 8, “And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:”

I thought that meant at the final end of it all when the Lord destroys him and the whole world sees it.

I kept thinking that the son of perdition had to come first, then halfway in we get taken out of the way because the wicked one sets himself up in the temple claiming to be God.
