My very first post in over a year, and the guys on the Sporting News threads are equally divided. According to one poster over there, one Vegas book has already put up odds on when he’ll lose it.
I’m betting on TO losing it the first time there’s snow in Buffalo.
He’ll obviously drop passes, some of which are likely to be picked off, then blame the QB for throwing the ball too hard, then attack the OC for conspiring with another receiver to cut his receptions before going ballistic on the HC and go whining to Ralph Wilson.
A cancer is a cancer, whether it’s in your brain or locker room, and TO is the ultimate locker room cancer. There was a bunch of talk on ESPN last week that he would go to New Orleans until Sean Payton reassured Saints fans that they wanted nothing to do with him. That left Oakland, possibly San Francisco, and Buffalo(which I, like many of us, never saw coming). Oakland is at least a couple of years away from possibly being a contender because of Al Davis’ interference, and the Niners really wanting him is questionable because of the bridges he burned when he left there before, and I don’t think Mike Singletary would last 30 seconds into a TO rant before ripping his head off.
