Unsteady as she goes Kyle Olson at The American Mirror has the video and I've captured some key screen-caps for ease of viewing. While visiting Joe Biden's childhood home in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Hillary was physically unable to walk without supporting herself using any object in close reach. Hillary Clinton sought out the stability of just about anything during a visit to Joe Biden’s Scranton, Pennsylvania boyhood home... Video from Clinton’s appearance showed her grasping for a railing, a chair and the kitchen table on Monday. As Olson also notes, Hillary stumbled earlier in the day simply trying to maneuver away...

For all its talk of being a street uprising, Black Lives Matter is increasingly awash in cash, raking in pledges of more than $100 million from liberal foundations and others eager to contribute to what has become the grant-making cause du jour. The Ford Foundation and Borealis Philanthropy recently announced the formation of the Black-Led Movement Fund [BLMF], a six-year pooled donor campaign aimed at raising $100 million for the Movement for Black Lives coalition. That funding comes in addition to more than $33 million in grants to the Black Lives Matter movement from top Democratic Party donor George Soros...

Monday morning an independent reporter named Tim Pool announced he would no longer cover events in Milwaukee after witnessing white reporters being harassed and seeing a white man shot in the neck. Pool posted a video explaining his decision on You Tube. “Upon arriving here one of the first things we hear is the crowd getting angry and saying ‘what are these white people doing here?'” Pool said. Pool says he took it as a sign locals were angry but didn’t assume that meant it was unsafe for him to continue to cover events. “Things started to get really tense...

The largest hunger-fighting organization in the nation’s capital has put food-donating retailers on notice: no more candy, sugary sodas, or sheet cakes. As key as donations are to the nonprofit’s bottom line, the Capital Area Food Bank recently told retailers that, beginning this fall, it won’t accept free food that comes at a cost to recipients—many of whom struggle with obesity and diabetes as much as hunger. At a time when 97 percent of households reporting food insecurity “cannot afford a balanced meal,” the organization’s effort is part of a larger national shift that acknowledges solving hunger isn’t always as...

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Approximately 300 people gathered Monday night at South Philadelphia's Marconi Plaza to rally in support of keeping the Frank Rizzo statue. But soon things turned chaotic when a handful of Black Lives Matter protesters arrived on the scene with their banners. Police had to get between the two groups to prevent them from clashing....

The New York Times reports that in the latest release of Clinton documents, billionaire donors to the Clinton Foundation tried to curry favors from a responsive State Department when Hillary Clinton was U.S. secretary of State. That gambit is known as the “pay-to-play” scandal. Give the foundation a big fat donation, and Hillary will open whatever door you need opened. In fact, as secretary, she approved a now-famous deal that granted the Russians control over 20 percent of uranium production here in the United States. Despite all of this, Hillary, as usual, got off scot-free. But while she may think...

In a sign of just how much Chinese money is now shaping the electric vehicle industry, it’s been revealed that Karma Automotive and Faraday Future will both be building new manufacturing facilities in the same Chinese city, according to recent reports. Despite developing these new facilities in the same city (Hangzhou), it should be noted that the companies don’t seem to have any funding in common — Karma Automotive is backed by Wanxiang, but Faraday Future by LeEco. Karma ReveroWith regard to the Karma Automotive facility, Wanxiang recently applied for the environmental-impact review of a proposed site in Hangzhou for...

Tension flared again overnight in Milwaukee, with one person shot and a police officer injured in the second night of riots triggered by the fatal shooting of a suspect by an officer. Police violence against African-Americans has ignited sporadic, sometimes violent protests in the past two years. It also has prompted a national debate over race and policing while fuelling the growth of the Black Lives Matter civil rights movement. Violence erupted in Milwaukee on Sunday after peaceful vigils by small groups of demonstrators, and police said late that night that they had rescued one shooting victim, who was taken...

ATSUGI, JAPAN -- Japanese automaker Nissan Motor Co has come up with a new type of gasoline engine it says may make some of today's advanced diesel engines obsolete. The new engine uses variable compression technology, which Nissan engineers say allows it at any given moment to choose an optimal compression ratio for combustion - a key factor in the trade-off between power and efficiency in all gasoline-fuelled engines. The technology gives the new engine the performance of turbo-charged gasoline engines while matching the power and fuel economy of today's diesel and hybrid powertrains - a level of performance and...

Here are a few ways that humanity may be able to leave the cradle of Earth. The field equations of Einstein’s General Relativity theory say that faster-than-light (FTL) travel is possible, so a handful of researchers are working to see whether a Star Trek-style warp drive, or perhaps a kind of artificial wormhole, could be created through our technology. But even if shown feasible tomorrow, it’s possible that designs for an FTL system could be as far ahead of a functional starship as Leonardo da Vinci’s 16th century drawings of flying machines were ahead of the Wright Flyer of 1903....

An outspoken member of the Black Lives Matter movement in Atlanta is on probation for perhaps the last reason one might imagine. Fox5Atlanta.com reports Tyree “Sir Maejor” Page, has been arrested multiple times in the past few years for impersonating a police officer. According to the report, Page was first charged with impersonating an officer after an incident in December 2014 where he allegedly handcuffed an African American woman while “wearing a replica of the Atlanta police officer uniform.” A police report obtained by the news station says Page was also armed with a .45 semi-automatic pistol at the time...

To get a glimpse of the future of commerce in America, look no further than Sweden. The Scandinavian country is largely a cashless society, with consumers relying on mobile phone payments or plastic. While the U.S. is still far from achieving the same level of cash-free existence, increasing numbers of restaurants and retailers are now snubbing the lowly dollar bill. Some merchants such as SweetGreen, a salad chain, refuse to open their registers for cash, telling customers they can pay only with mobile payments or cards. With some newer vending machines, only a card or mobile wallet will get that...

“I’m afraid the election is going to be rigged,” Donald Trump told voters in Ohio and Sean Hannity on Fox News. And that hit a nerve. “Dangerous,” “toxic,” came the recoil from the media. Trump is threatening to “delegitimize” the election results of 2016. Well, if that is what Trump is trying to do, he has no small point. For consider what 2016 promised and what it appears about to deliver. This longest of election cycles has rightly been called the Year of the Outsider. It was a year that saw a mighty surge of economic populism and patriotism, a...

Just how strong is strong? When browsing the web for new and exciting material solutions, you are often bombarded with terms like ‘very high toughness’ and ‘excellent material properties’, but that means little until you see a filament in action. US developer of engineering-grade filaments Avante Technology must have been all too aware of that, because they just exposed their recently released FilaOne Gray Carbon Nanotube filled 3D printer filament to a grueling strength test during which it supported 1,000 times its own weight and easily withstood 90 degree bends. Now that’s strong. This remarkable FilaOne Gray filament was released...

Two guys from Canada have come up with a new way for everyone from small indoor growers to large-scale vertical farmers to easily automate their operations. Their system's called Motorleaf and it collects data about your plants and then instructs your existing grow equipment to adjust to the crop’s needs. Think of it as the Nest for your indoor farm. In the summer of 2015, Ramen Dutta began tinkering around with a way to more easily care for his small indoor hobby farm. Although he had a degree in agricultural engineering, he had been working in IT and created an...

So, wearing “Don’t Tread On Me” paraphernalia may constitute racial harassment in the workplace. From a 2014 complaint filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the folks who decide sift through hostile work environment claims at federal agencies, a person wearing such patriotic gear triggered “Sheldon D.” (not his real name) back in 2014. Lawyer Eugene Volokh blogged about this ridiculous case in The Washington Post, where the offended party cited the Gadsden flag as racially insensitive to blacks because its creator, Christopher Gadsden, owned slaves. So did Thomas Jefferson. So did George Washington. You don’t see massive protests against...
