A new email obtained by POLITICO is shedding more light on the mystery of whether and how interim DNC chair Donna Brazile might have obtained the text of a proposed question from a town hall between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders in advance, and possibly shared it with the Clinton campaign. And now CNN, which co-hosted the town hall with cable network TV One, is pointing the finger at its media partner for what appears to be a breach of the traditional secrecy surrounding the questions for such events. Donna Brazile, the current head of the Democratic National Committee, appears to have tipped the Clinton campaign off to a question about the death penalty that was going to be asked during a CNN town hall in March, newly released emails show. “From time to time I get the questions in advance,” Brazile wrote in an email to Clinton campaign communications director Jennifer Palmieri on March 12. On October 10, Wikileaks released part two of their emails from Clinton campaign chair John Podesta. Friday, Wikileaks released their first batch of Podesta’s emails, which included excerpts from Clinton’s Wall Street transcripts that reaffirmed why Clinton refused to release them in full. During the second presidential debate, Clinton confirmed their authenticity by attempting to defend one statement she made in the speech about having a public and private stance on political issues. She cited Abraham Lincoln, a defense comparable to her ridiculous invocation of 9/11 when pressed on her ties to Wall Street during a Democratic primary debate. The...

Republican pollster Frank Luntz thinks birtherism is just "noise" and will have no impact on the presidential election. Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Donna Brazile thinks he's wrong and that it will activate voters -- and not just African-Americans. Luntz and Brazile made their comments in separate interviews Monday with 13 Action News. Luntz is in Las Vegas to speak to a convention and to meet with various gaming clients. He does work for the Sands, Wynn Resorts and MGM Resorts. Brazile is here because Nevada is a battleground state and she is meeting with labor officials and activists. Luntz talked...

While attempting to minimize the importance of the special access donors to the Clinton Foundation gained with the State Department under Hillary Clinton, interim-Chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee may have made matters even worse: (ABC News)(VIDEO-AT-LINK) “First of all, Martha, the way I look at it, I’ve been a government official. So, you know, this notion that, somehow or another, someone who is a supporter, someone who is a donor, somebody who’s an activist, saying I want access, I want to come into a room and I want to meet people, we often criminalize behavior that is normal. And...

Interim DNC chair, Donna Brazile: "I want to learn what is behind all of this, because more emails are coming."

On Monday morning DNC interim Convention Chair Donna Brazile spoke to reporters about the Wikileaks scandal. Brazile claims the hacked emails were “tampered with.” The truth is at the Democratic Party we have a very open process… On behalf of the party I want to apologize for the salacious and sensitive, very mean-spirited emails that were referenced to in Wikileaks. Now look, we all know the party’s emails were hacked. We know that they are being selectively leaked. We also know that they have been tampered with. And, so I do believe that as a party we have to make...

Interim DNC chair, Donna Brazile: "I want to learn what is behind all of this, because more emails are coming." https://t.co/xFviQb3E09— Anderson Cooper 360° (@AC360) July 25, 2016 DONNA BRAZILE: I want to learn what is behind all of this because more emails are coming. This is just the first of probably many thousands of emails. They went in and stole the entire email databank of the staff.

CNN Benches Donna Brazile As She Takes Top DNC Role; Wikileaks Says Email “Implicated” Her In ScandalCNN has parted ways with political commentator Donna Brazile — at least for now — in the wake of her taking the DNC reins from Debbie Wasserman Schultz. “With news of Donna Brazile stepping in as interim chair for the Democratic National Committee,” the network said, “CNN and Brazile have mutually agreed to temporarily suspend her contract as a contributor for the network effective immediately. As a valued voice and commentator, CNN will revisit the contract once Brazile concludes her role.”

Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” while discussing presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s change agenda, Democratic strategist Donna Brazile declared that Trump doesn’t look like “change.”

The most amazing part of this argument isn’t the Pavlovian resort to identity-card victimization, although that’s certainly amazing enough. It’s the total amnesia about how Democrats spent their 2012 summer vacation and the abject hypocrisy that follows that causes the jaw to drop. I missed this part of the Washington Post story on Democratic panic over Hillary Clinton’s continuing faceplants over her wealth, but David Frum pointed it out on Twitter (via Twitchy): "Strategist Donna Brazile, a Clinton supporter, said scrutiny of Clinton’s speaking fees smacks of sexism.” http://t.co/5Lsdjjsl9X — David Frum (@davidfrum) June 22, 2014 But Donna doesn’t go...

Donna Brazile, the Democrat strategist who ran Al Gore's campaign, said Republican candidates who ignore the Tea Party do so at their peril, as House Majority Leader Eric Cantor's (R-VA) shocking ouster proved.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The Democratic National Committee’s summer meeting here late last week was starkly different from the gathering of its Republican counterparts earlier in the month. There were no surefire news-making speakers like Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey or former Speaker Newt Gingrich, nor was there consideration of any made-for-cable-news resolutions, like one that tried to bar a pair of television networks from sponsoring future presidential debates. Rather, it was a sedate gathering where routine party business was conducted routinely by national and state Democratic officials in a suburban Phoenix resort.

Despite the many differences I had with former President George W. Bush on a range of public policy issues, or as he called them, "decision points," I found common ground with him in one area, simply because we decided to put aside partisanship and do something good. Hurricane Katrina's devastation and the bungled rescue efforts are seared in the national memory. Bush's "heckuva job" remark turned into a byword for government incompetence and public distrust. The shallowness of it coming at such a terrible and low point left deep wounds that are still healing. That was what it was. But...

RUSH: Donna Brazile tweeted that her insurance premium went up and she doesn't know why, and I am not kidding. I literally am not kidding. Donna Brazile, a tweet, "What's on your menu? I just got off the phone with my health care provider asking them to explain why my premium jumped up. No good answer." Now, for those of you who do not know who Donna Brazile is (and there may well indeed be many of you who don't), Donna Brazile is a Democrat campaign specialist. She is one of the ranking unelected Democrats in the country. She ran...
