White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders quickly smacked down a liberal reporter complaining about Trump calling NFL players “sons of bitches” for protesting the National Anthem. What about our Veterans? What about the gold star moms? Nobody feels sorry for overpaid, ungrateful athletes.“I think it’s always appropriate for the President of the United States to defend our flag, to defend the national anthem.”(video at link)

President Donald Trump on Sunday urged fans to boycott National Football League games to pressure it to fire or suspend players who kneel in protest during the national anthem, intensifying a battle over politics, social justice and race in America's most popular sport. But in the first NFL game since Trump touched off the spat Friday with an expletive-laden speech to supporters in Alabama, at least a dozen players on the Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonsville Jaguars, playing in London, took a knee Sunday during the playing of "The Star-Spangled banner." Others stood and locked arms in a show of solidarity....

Donald Trump has renewed his attack on NFL stars kneeling during the national anthem, by urging fans to stop going to games "until players stop disrespecting our Flag & Country". In tweets posted on Sunday morning, the US President told fans if they boycott matches "you will see change take place fast. Fire or suspend!" He added: "...NFL attendance and ratings are WAY DOWN. Boring games yes, but many stay away because they love our country. League should back US." https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/911904261553950720?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fnews.sky.com%2Fstory%2Fdonald-trump-urges-nfl-fans-to-boycott-games-over-takeaknee-anthem-protest-11051259 https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/911911385176723457?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fnews.sky.com%2Fstory%2Fdonald-trump-urges-nfl-fans-to-boycott-games-over-takeaknee-anthem-protest-11051259 Mr Trump's latest criticisms of the protest brought an immediate response at Wembley Stadium, which hosted the NFL...

President Donald Trump sparked a backlash from some of the biggest names in professional sports over the weekend after he attacked football players who refuse to stand during the national anthem in protest and rescinded a White House invitation to the Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry. On Sunday, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, a supporter and donor who gave the president his Super Bowl ring, released a statement criticizing Trump's comments and backing players to use their platform in order to draw attention to political issues. "I am deeply disappointed by the tone of the comments made by the...

A group calling itself the Women’s Media Summit has a radical plan for fixing Hollywood’s gender imbalance. Boycott Hollywood movies that don’t meet the group’s definition of a gender-balanced production. What does that actually mean? Another goal is to have production companies adopt a labeling system, similar to the “No animals were harmed in the making of this film,” but for equitable gender representation behind-the-scenes and on the screen. Boycotts are hardly new on the left. Just ask Chik-fil-A, which endured a progressive-powered boycott following news that the company’s founder didn’t support same sex marriage. That’s a position President Barack...

The San Francisco 49ers Thursday night game against the Los Angeles Rams kicked off in front of a nearly empty stadium. Los Angeles Times reporter Lindsey Thiry tweeted a photo at the time of kickoff, which showed thousands of open seats. In fact, most sections in the photo have more empty seats than fans. Thursday night football. Time for kickoff. pic.twitter.com/SinMLDH6AD ESPN’s Darren Rovell reported that 63,500 tickets had been sold for the game, but of course, simply selling a ticket doesn’t mean the buyer will actually show up to the game. It’s hard to believe there are more than...

I suppose at some point this will qualify as beating a dead horse, but holy smokes, man, nobody went to watch the 49ers last night.

Ratings in Weeks 1 and 2 were down 12 and 15 percent, respectively, according to Nielsen. To be sure, saturation TV coverage of Hurricane Irma sapped some eyeballs from football during the first week of play “Week 2 might have still been disrupted by carryover impacts from the hurricanes that hit Houston and Florida,” UBS analyst Doug Mitchelson offered by way of explanation.

“The Emmys are a Hollywood bubble show," Media Research Center vice president Dan Gainor told Fox News. "Actors and directors get to pretend they are important because they are doing such insightful takes on life in America, when they have zero idea what life in America is for the other 330 million people." “Hollywood won’t walk away from politics. The left wants to force politics into every single aspect of our lives -- from sports to movies to the food we eat. They won’t be satisfied until we are all appropriately woke to their struggles du jour,” Gainor told Fox...

I didn't Watch the Emmys being too Politicized and I was Right. It's the same reason I don't watch ESPN. These venues have been hijacked by the Left and I am just not interested. Please Emmys, ESPN leave off the vicious campaigning as I'm only going to tolerate it during campaign season and not in these venues.

If NFL fans in Los Angeles are excited about the Rams this year, they have a funny way of showing it. The L.A. Coliseum looked nearly empty for the team's home opener against the Colts on Sunday, and let's just say that everyone watching at home seemed to notice. When the game kicked off, former Colts punter Pat McAfee was one of the first people to point out how empty the stadium looked. Not even the lure of a $6 ticket was enough to get Rams fans to the game. That's right, all you needed was six dollars to attend Sunday's...

Comcast, the parent company of MSNBC, saw its shares plunge this past week as the company said it expected a record drop-off of subscribers for its Xfinity cable and internet service. The selloff of shares began on Thursday when Matthew Strauss, a Comcast vice-president for Xfinity, told a Merrill Lynch media conference that the company was bracing for a dramatic loss of 100,000 to 150,000 subscribers in the third quarter of this year. Shares had closed Wednesday at over $41 a share, but Thursday’s announcement led to a 7 percent price decline -- the biggest drop in share price since...

The start of the NFL season is normally a pretty big deal across the country. Apparently Los Angeles and San Francisco didn't get the memo. The Rams and 49ers each opened their season at home Sunday, and both teams had to start their games with lots of empty seats in the stadium. The Rams are hosting the the Colts, but it seems like the los Angeles fans are not that concerned about being there to see it in person. [Snip] The 49ers are welcoming the Panthers, but not even Cam Newton could attract a crowd that wanted to show up...

ATLANTA - The NAACP has called for a boycott of the NFL. The organization says the league treated free agent Colin Kaepernick unfairly for his headline grabbing protest during the national anthem. --SNIP-- Kaepernick has not been signed by an NFL team. This boycott is not just here in Georgia. It is nationwide. The NAACP says they are planning to send a strong message to not only commissioner Rodger Goodell, but NFL owners like Arthur Blank.

The anti-President Donald Trump phenomena is a uniquely unparalleled mass hysteria that, to my knowledge, has never been witnessed before in America history. Vastly larger than what was done to Presidents George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan, we’ve never seen such a massive pre-emptive attempt to bring down a legitimately-elected president – before he even took office or did anything as president. Even today, seven months after his inauguration, the “elite” still do not understand how a man they despise could be elected and how he has kept his base of supporters despite the unrelenting demonization and smearing by the...

Walmart’s chief executive issued a strong rebuke of President Trump’s response to the protests that turned violent in Charlottesville, Va., saying the president “missed a critical opportunity to help bring our country together.” The criticism came in a statement that the retailer’s chief executive, Doug McMillon, emailed to employees Monday evening, which was reviewed by The New York Times. The statement was later posted on a company website. “As we watched the events and the response from President Trump over the weekend, we too felt that he missed a critical opportunity to help bring our country together by unequivocally rejecting...
