Mayor de Blasio won’t face criminal charges related to his campaign fundraising practices, the acting US attorney in Manhattan announced Thursday. In tandem with his federal counterpart, Manhattan DA Cy Vance Jr. also announced he wouldn’t prosecute de Blasio or his team — even though they violated the “spirit” of the election law.
