In a briefing before 22 Jewish leaders US President Barack Obama said that he is ready to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and discuss the necessary measures needed to make Israel feel safer after the Iran deal. According to Obama, sadly Netanyahu refused to hold a meeting. Saying the meeting would be seen as waving a white flag, because Netanyahu wants to continue fighting over the deal.

A report released by the U.N. Human Rights Council in Geneva on Tuesday called for alleged Israeli war criminals like Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to be arrested and tried for having led attacks against Palestinian civilians. Orders for the report to be prepared were initially given on July 23, 2014, just 16 days into the 2014 Israel-Gaza conflict that started when Hamas began firing rockets into Israel. It also named as its start date June 13 — the day after Palestinian thugs kidnapped and murdered three Israeli teenagers. Furthermore, creation of the report was directed by Mary McGowan Davis,...

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu hails report from top military officers vindicating Israel's conduct during Gaza war. Video srael will be vindicated, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu vowed during his weekly Cabinet meeting Sunday morning, ahead of the UN fact-finding mission's report on the IDF's conduct during Operation Protective Edge in Gaza. "We will expose the truth: that Israel has not committed war crimes," Netanyahu said. "We will work everywhere, for as much as it takes, to deal with false claims and anti-Israeli initiatives," he continued. "This report shows the true facts and proves that the actions carried out by the IDF...

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Wednesday that Israel would defend itself against Iran, calling an emerging nuclear pact “a mistake that will cost dearly.” Speaking at the Knesset during a discussion devoted to the victory of the Allied forces in World War II 70 years ago, Netanyahu said world powers should learn a lesson from the rise of Nazi Germany and not go ahead with an agreement that would allow Tehran to continue enriching uranium and lift sanctions. “The lesson of history is never to make concessions to a radical regime which waves the banner of genocide and expansionism,” he...

The Jewish Standard shared this “earnest exchange” between Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and a little girl on its Facebook page: he girl asked the Prime Minister about losing his brother Yonatan. Tablet writes that Netanyahu’s older brother “Yoni” was killed commanding 1976’s Operation Entebbe, in which an attempt was made to rescue hijacked hostages. Netanyahu’s response to the girl highlights the softer, sensitive side of the world leader: I felt like someone took an axe and chopped my hand off. Not only the hand. Somebody took an axe and chopped off my leg. Maybe both legs… That’s how I...

A senior source in the Jewish Home estimated Tuesday that White House pressure against a nationalist government is the real reason for the delay in the signing of a coalition deal between Likud and the religious Zionist party. The unnamed senior source was cited on Army Radio as saying that the Jewish Home has shown flexibility on numerous subjects, leaving very few disagreements between the parties, yet the prime minister is taking his time about signing the deal. The source estimated that the US is pressuring Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to establish a unity government with the Zionist Union (Labor...

70 percent of Americans express a favorable opinion of Israel, unchanged from where it stood the same time last year. Gallup concludes that “the evident friction between resident Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu” has not “affected how each is perceived in the US.” So why is Susan Rice, an unelected, unconfirmed, White House bureaucrat appearing in the media, defining the nature of relations between these two important free world allies? And doing so inaccurately? ... Last November the American people spoke and delivered decisive victories to Republicans, giving them control of both houses of congress. Americans said boldly...

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu understands all too well what it feels like to be alone, for on his shoulders lies the immense responsibility of protecting the Israeli people from Iran’s ambitions of “erasing Israel from the map.” Given Iran’s venomous intentions and the West’s insistence on negotiating with this thug nation, it is no wonder that Netanyahu felt compelled to go out of his way and showcase to the world on Monday his nation’s newest weapon — a nuclear-armed submarine. Known officially as ISS Tanin, which means “Crocodile,” this beast of a vessel reportedly carries nuclear-tipped cruise missiles with...

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Barak Obama had a difficult phone conversation on Thursday night, hours after the announcement that a framework nuclear agreement was reached between the six world powers and Iran. According to the Prime Minister's Office, Netanyahu reiterated during the conversation that "a deal based on this framework will threaten Israel's existence." In the conversation, Netanyahu expressed staunch opposition on Israel's part to the framework deal, describing it as posing a "grave danger to Israel, the region and the world." The prime minister told Obama that only this week an Iranian general said that "Israel's destruction...

Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) said the Obama administration’s obvious “animosity,” towards Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s is “reprehensible.” Defending Netanyahu’s heavily criticized comment that a two-state solution is not likely to happen soon Boehner said, “Well, he doesn’t have a partner. How do you have a two-state solution when you don’t have a partner in that solution, when you don’t have a partner for peace, when you’ve got a — when the other state is vowing to wipe you off the face of the earth?” Boehner added, “I think the animosity exhibited...

Netanyahu aides say Israel-US relationship is a write-off — and Iran, not the Palestinian issue, is to blame. Senior advisers to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have described the relationship between the Obama administration and the Israeli government as irreparable. The war of words between the two leaders over the last few days has focused on Mr Netanyahu's remarks on the establishment of a Palestinian state and Israel's Arab citizens, but officials in Jerusalem say they are convinced the real reason for the crisis is the difference of opinion on Iran. The view among Mr Netanyahu's advisers is that President...

WASHINGTON — CNN anchor Jake Tapper said the relationship between President Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is deteriorating and the respect the two leaders have for each other knows bounds. “I spent the first four years of Obama as the White House correspondent for ABC News and it was just fascinating to watch the relationship deteriorate from the very beginning when — I’m sure I’m going to mess up the chronology here — but there was a Biden trip to Israel and he landed and immediately new settlements were announced. WASHINGTON — President Obama said he has told Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the Israeli leader’s remarks in the closing days of his re-election campaign had upended the Israeli-Palestinian peace process and ran counter to the very nature of Israeli democracy, an unusually forceful and public condemnation of the top official of a vital United States ally. In his first public comments on the matter since Mr. Netanyahu’s victory in Tuesday’s elections, Mr. Obama said the prime minister’s pre-election statement that there would be no Palestinian state on his watch had all but foreclosed the chance for negotiations to resolve...

Day after Obama urges Iran to seize ‘historic opportunity,’ supreme leader says US seeks to create insecurity. Iran’s Supreme leader Ali Khamenei called for “Death to America” on Saturday, a day after President Barack Obama appealed to Iran to seize a “historic opportunity” for a nuclear deal and a better future, and as US Secretary of State John Kerry claimed substantial progress toward an accord. Khamenei told a crowd in Tehran that Iran would not capitulate to Western demands. When the crowd started shouting, “Death to America,” the ayatollah responded: “Of course yes, death to America, because America is the...

In the wake of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decisive reelection, the Obama administration is revisiting longtime assumptions about America’s role as a shield for Israel against international pressure. Angered by Netanyahu’s hard-line platform toward the Palestinians, top Obama officials would not rule out the possibility of a change in American posture at the United Nations, where the U.S. has historically fended off resolutions hostile to Israel.

After years of blocking U.N. efforts to pressure Israelis and Palestinians into accepting a lasting two-state solution, the United States is edging closer toward supporting a U.N. Security Council resolution that would call for the resumption of political talks to conclude a final peace settlement, according to Western diplomats. The move follows Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decisive re-election Tuesday after the incumbent publicly abandoned his commitment to negotiate a Palestinian state — the basis of more than 20 years of U.S. diplomatic efforts — and promised to continue the construction of settlements on occupied territory. The development also reflects...

After earlier reports said that the Palestinian Authority was considering suspending all security cooperation with Israel in the wake of Binyamin Netanyahu's reelection, the PA officially announced Wednesday night that it was hoping to renew talks with Israel, regardless of who was Prime Minister. Nabil Abu-Rudeineh, the PA's official spokesperson, said that the PA has “no interest in the disposition of Israel's Prime Minister. The only thing we are interested in from any Israeli government is the recognition and acceptance of the two-state solution, with Jerusalem as the capital of the Palestinian state.” At a press conference in Ramallah, Abu-Rudeineh...
