The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) today announced that Ben Lange, the rising conservative candidate in Iowa's 1st congressional district, has been elevated to the top tier of Republican congressional candidates across the country. The move signals increasing danger for the embattled liberal Democrat incumbent Bruce Braley who has voted with Nancy Pelosi 98% of the time at the expense of Eastern Iowans.

The conservative candidate running in my district (Ben Lange) just released a new web video that is sure to turn some heads! He is definitely who he claims to be -- a genuine conservative alternative to the lib Braley. In fact, Lange recently came out against federal funding for rebuilding a dam in his OWN district because the dam is privately owned and sits on a recreational lake. How refreshing is that?
