BARTOW, Fla. — A man was arrested after he drove through a cemetery in Bartow, Florida. He damaged some headstones of some graves and ultimately crashed into a house. Police saw Timothy David Adams, 40, recklessly driving and witnessed him run a stop sign just after midnight Thursday, according to WFLA. Officers attempted to stop Adamas but he fled the area. It's a small sign with a big message, but Bartow residents are now being ordered to uproot their "God Bless America" yard signs. About 300 of the signs were handed out at First Baptist Church of Bartow following a Fourth of July sermon. BARTOW | A 43-year-old Bartow man accused of killing his roommate and drinking his blood was sentenced Wednesday to 20 years in prison. Circuit Judge Ellen S. Masters also ordered Mauricio Lopez to serve five years of probation as part of a plea deal with prosecutors.
