ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- A jury found Allan Barahona, 20, guilty of running down and killing an Orange County sheriff's deputy. Barahona told a jury that his car was defective, causing him to strike Deputy Michael Callin last year as the officer tried to pull him over. Callin had parked his motorcycle on the Kirkman Road onramp to Interstate 4 and was working speeding detail when he was hit and killed. Monday, Barahona was found guilty of manslaughter, vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of an accident, resisting arrest with violence and driving with a suspended license.
