The patient was one of six to develop an infection from 2018-2019, according to Alyse Bernal, public relations manager for the hospital. The infections follow several operating rooms being shut down in May by the detection of Aspergillus mold in the air. The hospital said that the risk to patients was low, but that it was contacting those who might have been exposed. The Children's Hospital patient died after developing an Aspergillus infection in 2018, Bernal said. Details about the patient and the case have not been shared for the sake of privacy. With tensions at an all time high in Afghanistan following the Koran burnings, the urination video, and the killing of 16 civilians attention is now falling on a long line of "Infidel" apparel and gear. Exhausted from how they feel they're being perceived, troops have taken to wearing patches and carrying items that label themselves infidels and offer translation in local dialect. In the Muslim world an infidel means literally "one without faith" who rejects the central teachings of Islam. Military.com tracked down Clayton Montgomery at Mil-Spec Monkey, a large online seller of infidel gear, who says his most popular...

SEATTLE - Timothy Garon's face and arms are hauntingly skeletal, but the fluid building up in his abdomen makes the 56-year-old musician look eight months pregnant. His liver, ravaged by hepatitis C, is failing. Without a new one, his doctors tell him, he will be dead in days. But Garon's been refused a spot on the transplant list, largely because he has used marijuana, even though it was legally approved for medical reasons. "I'm not angry, I'm not mad, I'm just confused," said Garon, lying in his hospital bed a few minutes after a doctor told him the hospital transplant...

SIX archaeologists died mysteriously just months after they opened up an ancient Egyptian coffin, a bombshell documentary has revealed. The curse of the pharaohs is an alleged spell said to be cast upon any person who disturbs the mummy of a powerful Egyptian. This curse, which apparently does not differentiate between thieves and archaeologists, is said to cause bad luck, illness or even death. Since the mid-20th century, many historians have even argued the curse is real, due to the unexplainable circumstances that occur after the ancient coffin. For many years, pharaohs were buried in the Valley of the Kings...
