If you have not realized it, outrage is about the only tool left in the Democrats' political arsenal. After years of the left telling Americans there is nothing beyond this world, there is no higher and best use of one's soul because it does not exist, and the worms will start eating us the day after we die, Americans are rather tapped out of caring about much of anything. So rage it is, and the latest rage is about the Confederate battle flag. To hear commentary in popular culture, one might be forgiven for thinking the Confederate battle flag shot...

Only 45 percent of all Americans -- regardless of their political leanings -- believe that the Earth is warming The Pew Research Center has released the results of a poll that examines the ideological divide over global warming in the United States. Only 45 percent of all Americans—regardless of their political leanings—believe that the Earth is warming and that the warming is caused mainly by human activity. This is a decline from 50 percent in 2006. The remaining 55 percent either don’t know whether or not the Earth is warming or what is causing the warming, don’t believe the Earth...

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton promised on Saturday to fight for ordinary Americans who have been left behind as the economy recovers, appealing to working families at the first major rally of her 2016 White House campaign. Speaking on New York's Roosevelt Island, within sight of Manhattan's skyscrapers, Clinton promised would "make the economy work for everyday Americans, not just those at the top" if elected president. The gathering of several thousand people cheered as Clinton said working people are asking why wealth is reserved for chief executives and hedge fund managers. "You have to wonder, when...

Americans ‘overreacted’ to the 9/11 attacks, according to the newly appointed first female vice-chancellor of Oxford University. Terrorism expert Professor Louise Richardson said the 2001 atrocity provoked such a response because violent extremism was a ‘new experience’ in the US. Widespread panic ensued in America after al-Qaeda hijacked four passenger airliners and flew them into buildings, causing almost 3,000 deaths. In contrast, British citizens have shown themselves to be more ‘resilient’ in the face of terror when dealing with violence during the Troubles in Northern Ireland, she said.

I think back on the days of my childhood, days when all the kids in the neighborhood I lived in would get together for a game of stickball. All colors, all nationalities, everyone would play. Some better than others, but everyone would play until our mothers called us home at dark for dinner. The only break would come when the ice cream truck came by, and if someone didn’t have the dime for ice cream, someone else would buy it for them. Times have changed, but the basic principles of how I was brought up have stuck with me. It...

It is an obvious truth we too often forget. At the Albert Einstein Memorial, on the grounds of the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, D.C., an explanatory sign states a simple fact that refutes the argument President Barack Obama's science adviser once made for redistributing wealth and limiting human population so as to save the human race from a poverty he claimed must inevitably intensify as our numbers increase. "At Einstein's feet lies a circular sky map representing the planets, sun, moon, and stars, positioned as observed by astronomers from the U.S. Naval Observatory at noon on the day...

. . . but there is less here than meets the eye. At first, the numbers seem alarming, and there is an alarming element to it. Since the last time such a poll was taken in 2008, the percentage of Americans identifying as Christians has dropped from 78 percent to 70 percent. Yes, 70 percent is still an overwhelming majority, but an 8 percent drop in just seven years is pretty big. So how does one account for those one-time devoted followers of Jesus Christ suddenly abandoning the Kingdom of God? One doesn’t, because that’s not what’s really happened here....

We now know that ISIS isn’t here looking for employment. Apparently a jobs program for terrorists isn’t at the top of their list. So America, if you’re not already locked and loaded—get prepared So ISIS now claims to have 71 soldiers in 15 states, all ready to attack targets at the drop of Mohammed’s name! To which I say Bring it on When Judicial Watch claimed that ISIS was already established across the border in Mexico it wasn’t much of a surprise to patriots—real Americans—who have known that the porous southern border would lead to easy terrorist access, the kind...

In the videos you can see dozens of girls punching, kicking, and stomping one another. School resource officers even got into the fray in an attempt to break up the fights, which appeared to have also spilled into classrooms. The first video posted on social media shows the fight happening in the cafeteria. “First, I saw teachers and security scattering over each other,” said 11th grader John Rork. “A couple of girls all over each other. I saw scratches, hair falling out, a lot of hair pulling. This one girl jumped off a table and punched another student in the...

NPR — Several Arab-American groups have launched a website to help U.S. citizens trapped by the fighting in Yemen. StuckInYemen.com was created after the advocacy groups began hearing from mostly Yemeni-American citizens who reportedly were being told by the U.S. State Department that there are currently no evacuation plans for Yemen. "We're hearing from people that are stuck all over the country," says Zahra Billoo, executive director of Bay Area chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. Within the past week, she says, there have been more than 200 entries on the website from people seeking help. "We imagine there...

A chaotic night Tuesday in downtown Minneapolis included fights, injuries and arrests. JNS.org – In various cultures, a particular month, day or time is associated with a certain annual activity. For example, here in the United States, November—every other year—is election time. In Israel, every May brings the solemnity of remembering fallen soldiers, followed immediately by celebrations of national independence. And if it’s March and you happen to live in Palestinian Authority (PA)-controlled territory, then you know it’s time for publicly praising and honoring one of the most gruesome Palestinian massacres of Israelis and Americans in modern history. That’s because March 9, 1978, was the day that a squad of 13 Palestinian...

Cell phones were rolling on a violent brawl involving Homestead middle school girls after school just feet away from school property. But it was anything other than a fair fight. A girl in pink shorts throws the first punch at 14-year-old Angelina Padron. Padron fights back. That’s when the girl’s friends jump in. They punch, kick and at one point drag Padron by her hair into the street. The fight is only broken up when a shirtless man from the neighborhood steps in to pick her up. The situation involving the girls is so tense, a relative of Angelina’s speaking...

White House may not send a cabinet-level official to largest annual gathering of pro-Israel Americans - and the president won't go either The White House confirmed on Monday that President Barack Obama doesn't plan to attend the American Israel Public Affairs Committee's conference next week, held annually in Washington, D.C., and that no cabinet-level U.S. official is currently scheduled to make an appearance.
