oe Miller has shown he is the only true conservative in the Alaska United States Senate Republican primary. His opponents are beholden to exactly the people who have brought us the mess we are in; and either one would only make things worse. He can be supported at Joeforliberty.com The primary is August 26, 2014. When the Alaska Family Action debate moderator asked the right questions, Joe Miller had the right answers and his opponents in the Republican U.S. Senate primary did not. Those are the simple facts. On Illegal aliens pouring into our country, Miller explained he is against...
  • Exclusive:Sarah Palin Gives Conservative Response To Elizabeth Warren'S Progressive Commandments

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin gave a "commonsense conservative" response to Sen. Elizabeth Warren's (D-MA) progressive commandments on her SarahPalinChannel. Long before Warren and Republican Dave Brat, Palin was attacking the bipartisan permanent political class and their embrace of crony capitalism. That is why Palin has always appealed to Reagan Democrats and independents fed up with both parties. After Palin's landmark 2011 speech in Indianola, Iowa, Republicans who enabled the cronyism associated with George W. Bush and the GOP-controlled Senate were forced to slowly combat it. So it is only fitting that after Warren introduced her 11 progressive commandments at...

HOUSTON, Texas--As unaccompanied minors continue to illegally cross the Texas-Mexico border, President Obama's Health and Human Services (HHS) has been quietly releasing them onto U.S. soil. A total of 30,340 unaccompanied minors have already been released from federal custody and placed into foster homes, according to HHS' Office of Refugee and Resettlement (ORR). While many migrants have been released in border states like Texas and California, others have been set free in Alaska. Federal data shows that as of July 7, five unaccompanied minors were released in Alaska.
  • Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh: Foolish For Boehner To Take Impeachment 'Off The Table'

After conservative icon and talk radio host Rush Limbaugh blasted House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) for declaring that impeaching Obama was off the table, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin praised Limbaugh for understanding the importance of not emboldening Obama to act even more lawlessly. "Rush is right," she wrote in a Wednesday Facebook post. "The GOP wants to take impeachment off the table? When will you learn liberals won't hate you less if you play nice in these tumultuous times? No matter how polite, complacent, and complicit you are, Obama will continue to harm our Republic and make you impotent....

  • How One State Could Hold the Key to Legal Marijuana in America

Everything's in motion for what could be a stunning victory for marijuana legalization this November. Advocates in Oregon just got legalization of recreational marijuana on the ballot in the state, which means it could join Colorado and Washington as the only states to fully legalize (and tax) the drug. But beyond Oregon, an even more important battle is brewing farther northwest. Legalization is also on the ballot in Alaska. (VIDEO-AT-LINK)What makes Alaska special? There's a certain symbolic significance to passing marijuana legalization in a Republican-controlled red state. Colorado, Washington and Oregon all went for President Barack Obama in 2012, with...

On Wednesday, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin endorsed conservative Tennessee state representative Joe Carr in his primary bid to oust incumbent Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN). Carr has been hammering Alexander before the August 7th primary for voting for the Senate's Gang of Eight comprehensive amnesty bill even after he was warned by law enforcement officials that it would exacerbate the border crisis. Even Sen. Thad Cochran (R-MS) voted against the final bill. Palin thanked Alexander for his service and then promptly said it is time for new leaders who will have the guts to tell the Obama administration, "no mas."...

Using Facebook, Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz responded to a Sunday night episode of HBO's "True Blood." The show revolved around a vampire bloodbath at a fictional Ted Cruz fundraising event held at the George W. Bush Presidential Library. The episode is laced with insults aimed at the GOP and coins the term "Republi-cunt." Cruz labeled the episode "misogynist and profanity-ridden" and then added that he was surprised "HBO is suggesting that hard-core leftists are blood-sucking fiends...." Of all the places I never thought to be mentioned, HBO's True Blood vampire show would have to be near the top of...

BARROW, Alaska — When Sen. Mark Begich talks about his role in American politics, he describes himself as a sharp object, sent to Washington to jab at President Obama. “I’ll be a thorn in his [posterior],” Begich (D-Alaska) said in an interview. “There’s times when I’m a total thorn, you know, and he doesn’t appreciate it.” Begich, 52, is a first-term senator known for being pro-gun and pro-oil. But he is not actually that well known for anything. In the Senate, Begich is a junior figure, moving through the chamber’s power structure at the speed of a mastodon trapped in...
  • Op-Ed: The Arctic's Huge Store of Methane Gas: 'Ticking time-bomb?' (Methane Gas New Evil)

Some climate change proponents are saying the huge amounts of methane gas, stored under the Arctic ice is a potential "ticking time bomb." They claim that we must stop extracting fossil fuels that put more CO2 into our atmosphere or face disaster. Methane is only one of a number of gases called greenhouse gases (GHG) that can absorb and emit infrared radiation, or in other words, this means they can trap and absorb heat. The most abundant GHG is water vapor, followed by carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, ozone and CFC's. By measuring atmospheric infrared radiation, climatologists are able to...

No matter how many ways I say this, I’m going to get the usual “RINO!” reaction. I’ll give you the caveat as plainly as I can: this is not an article for or against the impeachment of Barack Obama. Now, no matter how forcefully I say it, there is still a faction on the right who will take my failure to immediately call for Obama’s impeachment as their chance to damn me as a RINO, a traitor, a fifth-columnist, a secret Obama supporter, a squish, and a sellout to the Evil Establishment. So before you lose your grip, reread the...

New research takes a look at decades of corruption convictions to find the crookedest states in the union. When we think of government corruption (as one tends to do), our biased minds often gravitate to thoughts of military juntas and third world governments. But, of course, corruption is everywhere, in one form or another. And it’s costing U.S. citizens big time. A new study from researchers at the University of Hong Kong and Indiana University estimates that corruption on the state level is costing Americans in the 10 most corrupt states an average of $1,308 per year, or 5.2% of...

Someone forgot to tell Joe Miller the party’s over, the Alaska GOP Senate primary has already been decided. Miller hasn’t noticed the lights are being turned out, the last of the balloons have fallen from the ceiling and the confetti is being swept up. He’s still partying like there is more than a month to go before Republicans decide Aug. 19 who will run against Sen. Mark Begich (D) in November. Maybe Miller is just having too much fun picking up endorsements from conservatives who also missed the “this party’s over” email, and poking fun at Lt. Gov. Mead Treadwell,...
