Louisiana Republican Rep. Vance McAllister — known as the “Kissing Congressman” — has decided to seek a full term after announcing his retirement earlier this year. McAllister had hinted for weeks he was considering running for reelection, but he confirmed it in an interview with the Monroe News-Star this morning. An Abu Dhabi criminal court sentenced an Asian housemaid to stoning to death after she was found guilty of committing adultery while married. The maid had been rushed to hospital following abdominal pains and tests showed she was pregnant after sleeping with another man.
