My Love for you is amazing! So allow me to love you by letting go of "all" the woes that encumber you for I AM your Peace and Joy. "Stand firm then" and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. ! Psalm 34 [A Psalm] of David; when he pretended to be insane before Abimelech, who drove him out, and he went away. 1...

My sustainment of my children comes through INTENSE INTIMACY not just lament and prayer for there is a difference between Mary at my feet and those that knew me from a distance . Do you see I AM your lap of Pure Joy and Breakthrough and it is in my presence that you receive your breakthrough. So see that you break through all distractions to me for they are a wall of resistance to all the blessings already laid at my feet for you to discern and receive. Luke 10:38-42 38 Now while they were on their way, it occurred...

Satan has gained a lot of ground in this world by convincing people that fear of the Lord is beneath us or silly. But God's Word says: "The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever." Psalm 19 "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding." Proverbs 19

Genesis 25 - The First Wrestling Match in Recorded History In Biblical History, which is arguably the most accurate history in the world, a woman named Rebekah was pregnant with two boys; Jacob and Esau. While in the womb the two boys moved and kicked very often, almost seeming to wrestle with each other. Like many historical stories in the Bible, all of us are like one of these two little wrestlers. Rebekah prayed and asked God why this was happening. The Lord answered her and said that she was pregnant with two great nations. The older would serve the...

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius finalized a contraception mandate that ignores the fact groups like the Little Sisters of the Poor are religious organizations, according to a lawsuit filed to protect them against fines for refusing to comply with an Obamacare mandate. "We cannot violate our vows by participating in the government's program to provide access to abortion-inducingdrugs,” Sister Loraine Marie said of a class-action lawsuit filed against the mandate on behalf of multiple religious organizations that provide health benefits.

The mission of Citizens Concerned with Human Life Mifflin-Juniata, Inc. is to secure protection for innocent human life from conception until natural death through effective education. And as “The Sentinel” is an excellent source of education, we try to emulate their fine educational thrust in the community. Our efforts are aimed at the community to have them understand what evils exist in the efforts of certain sections of society including government to control and eliminate human life. Such methods as abortion (murder), embryo stem cell research (more murder) euthanasia (more murder) and contraception (again more murder) are fostered by secular...

I want to comment on Jonathan Hayes' letter of Sept. 13: "Wants all to love all their neighbors as themselves" In good spirit you critique Mrs. Jane Brown's "Contends there is a fight between good and evil" letter of Sept. 10. Your statement of "...what you described was completely out of touch" leaves me thinking that there is no current "fight between good and evil going on." I'm sure you did not mean that. Of course good and evil have been part of our lives from the beginning. It is the reason for baptism to cleanse us from original sin....

Editor note: This essay below is worth the read. [The following essay explores the role that Francis Schaeffer played in the rise of the pro-life movement. It examines the place of How Should We Then Live?, Whatever Happened to the Human Race?, and A Christian Manifesto in that process.]One of the most enigmatic, controversial, and influential figures in the growth of the “pro-life†movement was Francis August Schaeffer. It was the issue of abortion in particular that drove Schaeffer to shift his later work in the direction of political involvement and mobilization.(1) Yet, despite the enormous impact of his books...

Can chaplains committed to historic biblical Christianity serve in the United States military? That question, though inconceivable to our nation’s founders, is now front and center. And the answer to that question will answer another, even more important question: Can religious liberty survive under America’s new moral order? The repeal of the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy, coupled with the Supreme Court’s ruling that the Defense of Marriage Act is unconstitutional, set the stage for this crisis. The full normalization of same-sex relationships within the U.S. military is part of the unprecedented moral revolution that is now reshaping American...

Another "good for Texas." The national Episcopal Church loses bigtime with this decision. Maybe they will continue to throw money away in property disputes (a questionable Christian mission) and bankrupt themselves.

If you think that same sex marriage and "non-discrimination" laws are all about love and tolerance, you couldn't be more wrong. A decision out of the New Mexico Supreme Court last week clearly shows why. The decision is itself intolerant and discriminatory. According to the Court, Christian photographer Elane Huguenin violated New Mexico's "non-discrimination" law by politely declining to photograph a same-sex commitment ceremony. Although the lesbian couple that brought the complaint easily found another photographer, Elane Photography now must pay nearly $7,000 in court costs for merely exercising her First Amendment rights.

Born-again Christians who are proclaiming the truths of God’s Word are increasingly being accused, especially by unbelievers, of judging them, against the admonition of Jesus, “Do not judge”, as if Christians are not allowed, much less instructed, to judge anyone or anything, ever. But, is that really what Jesus meant? Is that a valid accusation, or is it merely a ploy to mislead us and keep us from speaking out on current moral issues, so that they can freely contend for their version of moral truth without opposition?
